Good scene, but the "it's necessary" made me cringe.

The Flood / Re: iPhone batteries are shit« on: March 03, 2015, 09:31:39 AM »The 6+ at 899€ is without a contract. That's a key difference between the US and most of the EU. Americans are usually very surprised to hear how expensive iPhones are over here. However, once they learn that the iPhones here come without a limit on Carriers and don't have a mandatory 2 year 40$ a month contract to go with it, that opinion quickly changes.Fucking nice.A 64gb factory unlocked OPO with no contract comes in at 300€, compared to the iPhone 6+ 64gb unlocked at just under 900€.Wait, how much is it?Then why are you thinking about getting a 6+ when the OPO isn't even half the price?I would.Nope. Do you want an OPO?Why do you want one? You're the one talking about getting a 6+ here. >_>Loving the battery life on my OPO.Yeah just rub it in Flee. Not entirely sure what the situation is like in the UK, but over here you can buy the unlocked OPO without a contract (300€), the iPhone 6+ without a contract (900€ for 64gb) or a 6+ for 1€ but with a crazy expensive contract to go with it. So to answer your question, you would have to fork out 300 for the OPO, but it would come unlocked and without a contract so that you can have any carrier with any type of contract on there that you'd like. 8883

News / Re: Warning System Update« on: March 03, 2015, 07:11:31 AM »Wait, so what does a lite ban actually do? I saw verbatim had one but what make it different to a ban- is it just like, for a day rather than permanent or something? It's just a term we use to differentiate it from a permaban / blacklist. Lite-bans can be administered by any mod. They're limited in time (maximum being a week) and automatically decay after each day. Basically, we don't ban in days but in percentages. Each day, 10% of your lite-ban percentage wears off. If you're in the 5-30% category, you're considered warned and get the warning status. If it's above 30%, you're lite-banned and cannot post. An actual ban or blacklist is when a master mod adds a name, ID or IP address to the blacklist of users. This can last anywhere from a single day to an actually permaban. 8891

Give me a break. >_>Oh, that's fucking simple. ADB is as easy as bash. I thought you meant there was some kind of samsung level "every phone is a little bit different" tier shit. It's been a while since I looked at it, but this is one of the most straightforward guides I've found. Last time I checked (granted, this has been a few months) there were no "one click roots" or toolkits available. The only way to root is by manual prompts in CMD on your PC.I refuse to believe thisBitch please. Rooting OPO's is quite the painmr smart lawman is autisticI don't want a nightly. All I have are my My Little Pony figurines, of course. And a few boxes of action figures that I played with when I was a kid.
