Two answers:

-Yes
-No
You can press the "quote" button underneath someone's post to address them directly and send them a notification of your response, by the way.

And it's good that you answered no to the second question. You and I can be good friends, one day.

Sorry for multiple posts, I just keep thinking of more.
You can edit your previous posts, by the way.
but no one's gonna go back and read it
True, but when all your posts are made in the span of an hour and hardly anyone else posted during that time, I don't think that's much of an issue.

Two questions though:

- Are you actually a speedrunner?
- Do you like anime?
<__<

We won't be stopped.
I'm currently studying my International Criminal Law course and am reading the (rather lengthy) chapters on genocide and crimes against humanity.

It's giving me ideas.

>_>
Psst

Promote me to a mod and we can permaban the weebs.
Gotta approach LC for that, I can't do promotions myself. >_>

>mfw I just googled this for news about CM 12S

"Well, if you are a OnePlus One owner and have been waiting on Lollipop (through either OS) to arrive on your device, then it looks like the wait is over. Almost over, that is. OnePlus have just officially announced the launch dates for both CM 12S and OxygenOS. According to the announcement, OxygenOS will be the first to arrive and will be available on (or before) March 27th. This will not be an OTA rollout and instead will be a download and install rollout. In terms of CM 12S, this will be available on (or before) March 30th and will come as a standard OTA to OnePlus One devices. "

Hoooly shit.

Damn, that must be hard.

That's just the nature of things in most competitve games that people play to win. People will use what works best. And what this is becomes more and more obvious as the game evolves. And if it gets to the point that playing like that becomes the only more or less viable way to go at it, that's more a flaw of the game than of the community.

Serious / Re: Fines and Bails Cost
« on: March 23, 2015, 04:25:00 AM »
This was actually one of the core questions of my criminal sanctioning law class.

While having punishments actually affect those they're aimed at makes sense and would be commendable, it is a general principle of law that everyone is equal for and by the law. When you are brought before a court of law, you are (in principle) judged only based on your actions and the context surrounding them. Whether you're black or white, young or old and rich or poor should not matter for the law or its equal and blind application (think of the blindfold that Lady Justitia wears).

I personally believe that a day-fine system could work for certain offenses, but definitely not all.

Getting ticketed $25 for a broken taillight is insane.  Getting ticketed $2,000 for a broken taillight because your income is high is completely and utterly retarded.
Fines for lower offenses are generally still issued at a flat rate.

I get the feeling that a lot of Europeans' opinions of America is based on misinformation and what they read on Reddit.
What makes you say that? Covering US events, I feel that most media here is pretty neutral and portrays the truth rather accurately.

general lack of knowledge and understanding of the outside world that is rather prevalent in the US
Christ you Eurofags are arrogant.

Can barely hold one country together between two language groups, but we're the idiots for not being versed in the political realities of backwater countries.
Stating something that is more or less accepted to be a simple truth is arrogance now? I don't know a single person here who isn't at least to a certain degree familiar with politics in the US, UK, Scandinavia, Western Europe, Russia, the Middle East and Australia. Comparing this to the pretty biased and generally lacking US media, I'd wager that the amount of people who actually go out of their way to become familiar with foreign politics is rather low.

Also, no need to get so offended and defensive here. Simply sharing some observations on how I feel that the stereotype of Americans not knowing or caring much about what goes on abroad seems to be pretty accurate. That is generally speaking, of course. I've met my fair share of Americans knowledgable of foreign politics.

If anybody here can vote in the Republican primaries, please vote Bush or Walker >.>
I plan on it.

Also, why do you keep up with American politics even though you live in the UK? There's nothint wrong with that, I'm just asking because people tend to not care about other country's politics.
Maybe it has something to do with the general lack of knowledge and understanding of the outside world that is rather prevalent in the US, but everyone here that I know cares about politics in a lot of different countries.

Where do babies come from?
Ah, the age old question of how babby is formed.

YouTube

That answered nothing.
You should probably just go ask your mom. Or Jim.
Can't handle the heat?
Is it that obvious? =(

I can safely say that seeing black people having a "white party" where they drink the more expensive liquors and have sandwiches with mayo while discussing politics does not make me feel uncomfortable or offended.
Yeah, that's not even remotely offensive. If anything it simply feeds my racial superiority complex.
Because only the best of all people eat mayo? Gotcha.
