As long as they don't expose unwilling others (like myself) to their smoking, I genuinely couldn't care less. However, I do fully reserve the right to consider an idiot just about anyone who willingly poisons themself and shortens their own life by potentially decades just because they enjoy the brief moment of satisfaction directly inhaling smoke in your longs offers.
But in the end, I feel the same way about these people as I do about religious folks. Keep it in your own home or church and far away from both myself and any children.

Oh shit, this actually looks surprisingly good. Not much of a fan of the Marvel stuff, but this? A superhero movie not marketed at 10 year olds? Would consider watching.
Winter Soldier and Age of Ultron are hardly for 10 year olds.
While Winter Soldier was a bit better than the others, I still find it hard to think of them as anything other than movies aimed at a much younger audience. There's hardly any serious themes that require much thought, it's always black/white, the movies are extremely predictable, the violence is the kind that has been carefully constructed as to not upset anyone and the ever prevalent little quirks and jokes undermine any serious tone the movies could have.
While saying that they're all aimed at 10 year olds was a bit too harsh, I can't consider any of them as actually serious or adult movies.
So because they're more light hearted instead of "muh gritty, mature and supr srs" means they're not "adult movies"?
That's stupid.
No, when their primary source of marketing are toys in McDonald's Happy Meal menus, then they're not adult movies. There's plenty of adult movies out there that are light hearted and funny, but they're not explicitly marketed at young children. And that's not even close to what I said. I never claimed that just because they're not gritty, they are not intended for a more mature audience.

Scarface is a really good terrible movie.
Scarface has received almost unanymous critical praise and is widely regarded as one of the best and most iconic movies of the early eighties. Why do you think it's a terrible movie?

I'm still remaining apprehensive. Hack Snyder is particularly good at marketing his movies really well. Just take a look at The Watchmen and MoS trailers. Executing the actual movies however, is a different story.
Of course, I am carefully optimistic. But Watchmen was a good movie, and Man of Steel was alright. I'm just glad it doesn't take after Marvel any more. I'll take the dark and gritty superhero movies over the juvenile likes of the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy any day.

I know you're generally against pre-ordering, but with this game I think it's a safe bet and a good deal.
While this may be true, this is something that everybody thinks. "Oh, the new Call of Duty? Well, Treyarch's last game was good, so this one can't be bad. Destiny? Well, Bungie did make some amazing Halo games after all, and this game has been advertised so much it can't be bad. The new Battlefield? Yeah, I know that their last one was kind of bad, but for this one the developers said they're going back to the Battlefield roots, so it must be a safe bet!" Not judging you for preordering something, but the same argument has been made for dozens of "failed" games.

No, your other thread got locked not because it spoke badly of the podcast, but because it literally just spammed the sentence "Is sep7agon podcast a thing" a dozen times over.

Crappy review, but the guy raises some good points. Played a bit of PS2 myself, but never felt compelled to put more time into it. Relatively easy and often boring game that relies on its large scale to stand out.

Pretty sure May and Hammond already announced that they wouldn't continue the show without Clarkson, so I doubt there's just going to be another member added to the cast any time soon.

I wouldn't be opposed to him making a return. Genuinely good guy, heart in the right place and has the potential of being a good mod. Made a few mistakes during his trial period, but I could definitely still see him as a mod.

Why would you go to a Christian business knowing that their beliefs don't align with your own? The only answer is to force them to violate their beliefs or threaten a lawsuit. It is silly and childish.
To bring about change? To bring public awareness to an actual issue? Stuff like this doesn't just change when everyone stays quiet. This is blatant and wrong discrimination. Simple as that. People are stupid, stubborn and ignorant. Sometimes, things won't change unless they get a push. And that is what this is about.

Not entirely sure how you're trying to validate legitimate criticism of downright discrimination by calling it "silly attacks on Christian businesses". This should not a valid ground to refuse service.

I'm pretty sure it's been more or less proven he had knowledge of the holocaust and such. While not directly taking part in it, "Ich habe es nicht gewußt" doesn't really fly.

Back in high school? Sure, all the time. The pressure helps. But now, in university? It's impossible. Going by the general comments on here and B.net, I feel like my work load is substantially higher than most. Bullshitting your way through a paper can easily be done when it's only a few pages and on some random subject, but when it's supposed to be a minimum of 50 pages on a field that you're supposed to study and explore thoroughly? Yeah, there's no way in hell anyone here would be able to pull that off last minute. So I unfortunately have to actually work ahead now.

As I was reading through his stance on the common issues to confirm if he's as awful and outrageous of a candidate as I expected him to be (which he turned out to be), I stumbled upon this beautiful quote of his.
"God does not love America more than Belgium. (Jan 2010)"
I don't even.
