If I was a person who had Destiny from the start I'd be kinda pissed about that.

It's not just that. People aren't just pissed about everything now being available as a collector's edition for pretty cheap (because that happens with pretty much every game), but they're pissed that the upcoming collector's edition has exclusive content that you can get nowhere else, meaning that those who have been playing Destiny since the beginning and have bought all of the previous content and DLC's (no idea why anyone in the right mind would ever do that anyways, but whatever) are now being forced to spend $80 on a collector's edition that is 80% filled with stuff they've already paid for earlier, just so they can get the extra content.

And then there's also the thing that Bungie has suddenly valued the entire base game + every previous expension at 15£ when buying it as part of the new DLC bundle. Kind of a shitty thing to do, asking people high prices for DLC promising them that the price is worth it, and then suddenly devaluating the entire game + DLCs to practically nothing a few months later when it suits their next release.

Looks like an interesting but incredibly overhyped game.

Basically, the deep web consists of all internet pages and websites that aren't indexed by traditional search engines. However, most people misuse the term and use it synonymous with "darkweb", which are websites relying on private and hidden networks. These networks are only accessible through specific tools, most notably the Tor proxy network. You cannot browse them or use the likes of Google, as the only way to access them is through the direct url (which usually ends on .onion).

Because of this increased anonimity, the darkweb is very popular for illegal activities. You'll find places like the Silk Road (sale of drugs, weapons, illegal narcotics), high end hacking communities, child porn and a ton of illegal downloads on there. If you don't know what you're looking for, it's generally slow, boring and completely uninteresting.

But to answer the OP: if you don't know all this and aren't familiar with tools like Tor, you've never been on there. It's not something you can just accidentally wander on.

OT: Same as most, I suppose. Some illegal materials, drugs / guns, hitmen websites, anon image boards, sites hosting illegal downloads, hacker groups sharing all sorts of information and tools. I did some research on it for my BA thesis on encryption and the law.
