The Flood / Re: Are MtG cards from the 90s worth anything?

I imagine that a lot of the rare cards would be worth something, yeah.

I don't remember you actually giving your opinion of me in that other thread, so let's try again. Unless that was someone else entirely, I don't fully remember.
from what i've seen, you appear to have the perfect balance of being chill and serious when it is necessary. other than your atrocious obsession with ponies you might be one of the best mods on the site, at least in my opinion. you're also extremely knowledgeable in the study of criminal law (if i remember correctly), which i find to be really cool. if i decide to further pursue a degree in criminal justice, i know who to pay to get my homework done ;D
That is surprisingly positive, thanks.

That's not justice, that's punitive damage.
The American system of awarding triple and punitive damages is hands down one of the worst judicial policies that still exist in the developed world.

That aside, is there any place where you can access these judgements? This makes it very unclear whether this is 135k purely emotional damages, or whether this includes the likes of legal fees and process costs.

7114
Sure.
are you just oblivious to what's fucking happened to this thread?
There's been only one comment that broke the rules, which I already edited. Other than that, this is still a pretty acceptable discussion as long as there's no more shitflinging.

BASED BELGIUM STRONK

Spoiler
Old Belgian prime minister and leader of the liberal party, for those wondering.

But seriously though, he said some good things.

From what I heard and experienced myself, Vanguard is pretty OP. Close combat weapons + abilities in combination with that charge ability? Easy.

I think that this has become my favorite new soap opera, watching Loaf slowly come to terms with his homosexuality.

The Flood / Re: TFW MAINTENANCE GRANTS ARE BEING CUT
« on: July 08, 2015, 08:40:54 AM »
That sucks. What would the cost be now?
it was already going to cost me 48k for 4 years now it would go up by 9k

Its really disheartening, I'm going to have to look at other options instead of university.
What about loans? I know tuition and such isn't that great in the UK, but from what I've heard it's still a lot better than what the US has to offer.

7122
Damn, a significant part of my cybercrime courses dealt with the possibility of this happening. So far, real and physical cyberterrorism has always been a work of fiction, but that is something that could change.

They really are, though.

7125
You could argue that opinions on values are subjective and cannot be objectively wrong, but that isn't the case for all opinions. "In my opinion, all people are made up entirely out of cotton candy" is a factually wrong statement, for example.

Cleaned this up, somewhat. Try putting multiple pictures in a single post and spoilering large images / gifs.
You pretty much killed it. Doing that would kind of ruin it. I think I'll just stop making these threads. I guess it won't work here.
Well, there's two reasons for that. One, posting a lot of unspoilered large images and gifs really slows down the page, making it a pain to browse. And two, back in the early days of this place the community settled on a policy regarding spam. To promote more quality discussion than simple spam and to actually have people's post count "mean" something, it was decided that spam / spam threads / image dumps without actual discussion value would be against the rules. It has been that way for ages, and I had no choice but to apply the rules consistently and remove several of your posts.

However, once Cheat implements our new forum framework, I think we should have more room for things like this. So you'll either have to wait a little, or group your images in the same post, or make a thread about it in the Septagon board to request a rule change.

This could be interesting.

You have an inappropriate obsession with circumcised penises, in particular those belonging to children.

I have no choice but to recommend your government chemically (or otherwise) castrate you.
Meh, was expecting something about ponies.

You can fuck a horse whenever you like, I just don't want you making future patients for me.
Thanks doc, this was reassuring. I'll be sure to keep on fighting the good fight against routine infant circumcision in order to reduce the amount of circumcised men who struggle with psychological trauma and issues in later life.

Have an upvote.

I'm normally all in favor of subs for foreign movies and shows, but for anime? The few random things I've seen online were just so attrociously bad with insane Japanese voices that I ended up muting it within seconds.

If you restructure it a little, this could be made into a News submission and a frontpage feature as a review of the game.

I'm sure you're right. But I don't have the energy to do that right now. Plus, anyone who wanrs to talk about my thoughts on the game can reply to me here.
Sure. I just figured that you put quite a bit of work into this and might enjoy seeing it pop up on the front page as a feature. You wouldn't have to move the thread and start a new discussion either, this thread could just remain here. But yeah, completely up to you of course.
