As an expert in traveling to America, here's a few good tips:
Always clap. Your plane lands, you clap. You go see a movie, you clap. The grocery store bag boy hands you your groceries, you clap. Waiter shows up with food, you clap. If you really want to fit in, you can loudly exclaim "bless you!" when you do. Simple stuff.
Tip everyone. Your cab driver, your waiters, your pilot on the plane crossing the atlantic (just put some in the little basket they hand around before landing) and even random people on the street. "Gratuity" is what they call it. No one really understands it or how much you're supposed to give, but you're a rude piece of shit if you don't so peer pressure keeps this alive.
"Football" is some strange activity where men hug in tights and padding for an average of 13 seconds before you get 5 minutes of commercials. It's pretty gay and you don't really use your feet nor play with a ball, but they still consider this a sport and call it football for some reason. Best to just roll with it and occasionally say things like "good catch, quarterbacker" and "wow what a play to the 3rd yard by the wide left receiver" to fit in.
Throwing rocks and other assorted objects at brown people or asians while yelling "this one is for 9/11" or "take that for Pearl Harbor you gook" is strongly encouraged, especially in the South.
Military adoration and respect for the flag is mandatory. If you see someone in uniform, you are obligated by law to thank them for their service and kiss their shoes. If you see an American flag (and trust me, you'll see hundreds because these people are crazy about their stars and stripes) you must recite the pledge of allegiance and raise your hand in the hitler salute which was traditionally used in American classrooms too. Some call it blatant indocrination, others patriotism.
Guns are a religion. You must carry at least 2 at all times and flaunt them as clearly as possible. "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" is an actual law in some states and pertains to the trading of firearms. If you'd happen to turn 19 when you're over there, you must compete in the trials that make you a man in the eyes of the US goverment. As a foreigner I never found out the exact requirements, but school shootings and something with a bald eagle are a part of it.
Oh and get laid a lot with women loving your British accent. People definitely liked mine, so they should enjoy yours too.

Sold Destiny within a week after its release. The gunplay is one of its only redeeming factors, yet it's still nowhere near good enough to keep me playing.

While this is pretty ridiculous and wouldn't happen over here, I do see where the school is coming from. This is the US we're talking about, and school shootings and attacks do happen on a semi regular basis there.
In the end, "school administration overreacts and student accidentally gets arrested for bringing clock into class" still sounds infinitely better than "school administration mistook suspicious contraption for clock and allowed homicidal student to bring a bomb into class before killing 10".

That sounds pretty doable, although the 15 hour shifts must be a pain. 2 exams isn't a whole lot and 5 pages for an essay like that should be easy enough. Just try putting things into perspective and giving it your best shot every day.

This tempts me to consider getting the game again, but when I remember how utter trash and boring the original game was I really can't be bothered much. No doubt that this is an improvement, but polishing a turd really just leaves you with a slightly shinier shit.

i do prefer it when stories don't try to explain everything and just leave things up to viewer interpretation, tbh
Been playing games all my life and never came across one that does this as well as your favorite game Dark Souls does, btw.

American education is weird.
did you take calc 1 when you were 8 or something?
I don't even know what calc 1 is supposed to be.
oooh you guy aren't super smart, you're all just mentally retarded
got it
Well if it's the kind of stuff that he posted a picture of earlier (limits, tangents and those kind of equations) then they're a mandatory part of your math classes in high school when you're around 15 or 16 years old.

Let's try to stay on topic, please. This thread exists to compile the septagon game reviews, not for lengthy discussions on the plot and lore of video games. Make a separate thread if you want to continue this.

Turkey, I just want to point out that I am in no way responsible for this derailment of your thread. Well, aside from getting these morons who deny FN's supremacy their panties in a bunch. Spoiler BELGICA BELGICA

Shit Turkey, you forgot to include the phrase "fuck off Flee" in the OP to ward off buzzkill Belgians.
Napalm pls, my interest in guns and their regulation is entirely academic. Majored in (exceptional) criminal law for my Master's and wrote one of my Bachelor's theses on gun regulation, which explains why I'm interested in this. I couldn't care much less about people messing around with guns on the other side of the world, so I'm not gonna show up in every gun thread to explain you all in detail why easy access to guns is the devil's tool.
That being said, literally everyone knows that FN makes the objectively best guns in the world. Forget about your AR and Ruger. Belgian exceptionalism or bust, Turkey.
FNC a shit
Weeb go home

"You must gather your party before venturing forth"
No
This is the point where this thread could've turned into a 30 page long masterpiece of crushed dreams and failure.

4 wrong answers, 0% bias. Not entirely convinced with some of their answers, tbh. The criminal justice ones seem rather iffy in particular.

I also don't think it's as big of a deal as people make it out to be. I mean, yeah it was devastating. But worse things happen every year and no one gives a shit.
This. It was awful and I get that it's an attack on American soil, but it's been 15 years and wasn't that horrible on a global scale. And the conspiracy stuff is BS.

THANK YOU BASED POSEIDON
Serious board is for serious discussion. This kind of stuff goes in Flood, not here.
I was serious.
You can be completely serious and still have an entirely joking and casual conversation that doesn't fit in our debate board. That stuff goes in Flood, not in Serious.

Got a Bachelor's in General Law and a Master's in Law (major Criminal Law, minor International and European Law). In a few weeks I'll be getting a specialized Master's in IT and IP Law. Hoping to become a researcher at a renowned IT Law institution or an assistant / p.h.D student at my current university.

Fuck, what am I even doing now? I beat the gaping dragon, I know of nothing else I could possibly do outside of the forest. I got into the forest and I joined that cat's clan. Now none of the humans attack me so I have no way of getting a shit load of souls. There's a shit load of trees that ambush me, there's those giant impossible to kill cats. I don't even know where I should go at this point in the game, I already tried to beat nito but he was difficult as fuck. The big ass wolf that carries the sword is fucking ridiculous. I dunno where the hell I am supposed to find blighttown.
The Gaping Dragon drops the key to Blighttown. You can access it through the sewers right before the Gaping Dragon fight. Have fun.

Not allowed to.
why is that?
Heredetary hemophilia. Only got 16% of the coagulants responsible for making your blood clot when you bleed.
oh shit. That ever caused any health issues for you?
Yeah, unfortunately. I almost literally drowned in my own blood from a particularly nasty nosebleed when I was 9. Surgeons only barely managed to stop the bleeding and had to pump my lungs and stumach afterwards. Now it's just a ton of precautions and aftercare for each medical procedure. There's also a few other things and pretty bad psychological trauma that still affects my every day, but that's quite personal.
