Im probably the only one but the music never stood out to me in Dark Souls. I was too goddamn focused on the game to notice it .-.
Majulas theme is the only one i can remember
I only like the second games DLC music so...
How do you not like Dark Souls 1 music?
Big orchestral music fan here too and I never really liked DS1's music. Compliments the game well, but I would never actually listen to the music outside of playing the game. Not my fancy, I suppose.

Disappointing to see how many best friends aren't willing to stick with it when things get a little tough.

What type of victim would you pick? What would be your MO? Finally, what would be your calling card be?
You don't pick a type, an MO or a name. That's how you get caught. You take your time and kill indiscriminately with no preference towards race, age or gender. Constantly change who, where and how you kill. Move around a lot. Bury some, sink some, leave some in their hourse or in public. Don't look for recognition or media attention. If that's what you're after, you wait. Obtain a little keepsake from every victim. When you're ready, have it end up at a news agency and pick a name.

I have no problem with 30 FPS, but generally prefer higher if it's stable.

chavs are a dying breed slowly being replaced by cheeky nandos, ket taking, roshe run wearing, weetabix haircut bellends.
Example
These actually look more like the people I saw. They were wearing sports attire and sport shoes though.

Chavs are still a thing?
Well, they were loud and obnoxious young British folk with pretty interesting hair styles, dressed in kinds of sport attire and using primitive guttural sounds and gestures to communicate. Unless I'm wrong about what chavs are, these ones fit the bill pretty well.

I can only hope that these gun nuts curtailing progress will just be grandfathered out of existence.
It'll probably take a while before something like this happens. Gun culture is pretty deeply engrained in American society and it's pretty unlikely that this will change any time soon, unfortunately. There's a few upsides and indicators pointing in the right direction, though. It's hard to know because the lack of precise governmental data and/or a registry, but the common idea is that American gun ownership is on a decline. While the amount of privately owned guns and gun purchases has been going up, this is almost exclusively due to a limited amount of people owning more and more guns. The general trend is that fewer people own guns, but those who do own them very often own several firearms. A second upside is that we're getting a better insight in how gun crime works and how regulations can address this. Over the last two decades, there's been a global trend towards stricter gun control policies that have been shown to be pretty effective in other countries. The international and global legal and criminologist consensus is increasingly favoring stricter gun control measures as the preferable policy. Additionally, increasing amount of research and data is supporting this position. 20 years ago, the idea that "good guys with guns are necessary to stop bad guys with guns so more guns = less crime" was still a very popular opinion, with a lot of this stemming from Gary Kleck's infamous and faulty research. Now, however, increasing amounts of research and evidence fostered by a better understanding of how to target this problem point towards the exact opposite, and those older ideas have been largely debunked and discarded by the larger legal community. It's still going to take a while, but gun ownership seems to be in decline and now that the internet has greatly improved the current generations access to information, it is likely that more and better research will succeed in reaching and convincing more and more people.

Looks like I'll be playing some Metro first. Briefly tried my hand at Ground Zeroes earlier too.
Metro was amazing and the Russian was spot on. Quality game.
The aiming is attrocious, though. My main complaint with the game.
Seriously? I never noticed.
Yeah, I noticed it from the second I picked up the first Metro game. I was hoping it would be fixed with Last Light, but they haven't really addressed it. One of the worst things is that the X, Y and Z axis all have different sensitivities / movement speeds that you can't individually adjust. As a long time lover of FPS games, this is incredibly off putting. Second to that, the aiming just feels "wonky". It's floaty and simply looking around feels like you're dragging your reticule through mud. It doesn't feel snappy, responsive or accurate at all. Coming from Far Cry 4 and Crysis 3 (both of which have excellent aiming features), Metro feels sluggish and just very... "off".
