Oh shit, I have one of those. Wore it just tonight.
Yeah.
And you had to import a girlfriend because everyone at home thinks your gay.
She says she's not imported. No tariffs.

I also never wore this kind of stuff before her. She wants me to wear big boy clothes and shit.
Maybe she thought it matched your My Little Pony novelty tee shirts.
I'll have you know that I only own one My Little Pony shirt.

Women tend to pull them off with ease.

You have to be one fashionable motherfucker to do it as a male though.
According to my girlfriend, it's also part of European male fashion that is going to end up in the US eventually.

Is it wrong that while opening this thread I was tjinking to myself. "Please let this not be a muslim, please let this not be a muslim." And when it was not I sighed with relief. Still it is a sad day.
That's quite a standard reaction for western (Americanized) Muslims, as I understand.
I heard the same for European Muslims too.

Oh look at that, you don't need guns to hurt and kill many people. Gun problem? No, it's a PEOPLE problem
He killed only 2 and injured but 2 more in the first such event in years. When this stuff happens literally every single day and thousands of people die to swords on a yearly basis, then you can start bringing comparisons to gun control into this. If anything, this is an example of stricter gun control done right. Chances are there would've been a lot more dead and seriously injured kids if his guy had access to guns.

This is some advanced trolling.
I swear on my beloved mother's unfilled grave that this is 100% serious.
Haha, good one Psy. The "USA is the best" part was pretty subtle and probably managed to convince some people, but then the "Japan comes close" part really gave it away. 8/10 trolling attempt.

Anyways, back on topic. I can't help but feel like a lot of those examples really aren't as much white privilege as they just are socioeconomic privilege of being fortunate enough to grow up in a financially stable family situated in a better part of town that actually takes good care of its children.

I personally can't think of any cases where I received undue advantages to due to me being white. I know the idea behind white privilege is that it's passive, but a lot of people in those comments are able to cite real examples that I've never encountered.

That aside, I'm not saying that I'm not privileged. I fully recognize how fortunate I am. I grew up in a wealthy upper class family. My parents and entire family have always been loving and supportive of most things that I do, actively trying to help me out and get me to succeed. Pretty much my entire family is highly educated and has at the bare minimum a Master's degree or two, with most of them being doctors, dentists, surgeons, lawyers, high ranking managers, CEO's and so forth. Same goes for my old environment and the people my parents are friends with, who almost all are very successful people. I've gotten a lot of opportunities, a good education and always received plenty of support. In that sense, I am very privileged.

But have I ever really felt privileged just because I'm white? Not really.

*Disclaimer: for those who wouldn't know, I do live in Belgium, so my situation probably is a little different from what it's like in the US. From what I've heard, the race thing is still a much bigger issue there than it is here.

This stuff happens multiple times a day in the US. It's only news because it happened at a school and so close after the Oregon shooting.

That being said, it does provide an example of why allowing students to carry on campus is a pretty terrible idea.

Anyways, first check to see if your PC can burn DVD's on its own without extra peripherals. Most current / recent computers will be able to do so without requiring an external burner.

http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/determine-whether-your-computer-can-burn-cds-and-d.html

Then, you can simply use free software to burn movies on DVD's like the ones you linked.

Oh, and to the mods: It's not illegal, due to the fact that it's a fan-edit.
Yeaaah, that's not how that works. Still not fully legal.

That being said, I've never been against people talking about piracy or sharing links on here. Basic rule of thumb is that as long as you don't share direct links to illegal downloads on the public forums here, you're fine. No issues with this thread.

"Listen, we have to talk. I don't think this is going to work out between us. It's not that I didn't enjoy our time together, but we just really seem to have such different interests and goals in life, and I feel like I should focus on X now. I'm sorry if I gave you the wrong impression and I made a mistake getting into a relationship at this time. I hope you understand and find someone else who fits you better and actually has his priorities figured out."
