Going by my own experiences with friends and acquaintances combined with the pretty massive outrage on forums after this was announced (which apparently reached such a magnitude that 343 tried to find a way to add splitscreen but found themselves simply unable to because of how the engine was designed)? I'd say quite a number of people still enjoy actually directly socialising with people while playing games. Apparently, 343 even recognized that the number was large enough that they're going to try and implement splitscreen in Halo 6.

If you're someone who never uses splitscreen, the 60fps upgrade is much better
Well yeah, but that only applies to the people who never use splitscreen. "If you're someone who never plays campaign, devoting the additional disc space to more emblems and customisation options is much better". No clue why they couldn't fit in both, though. 60fps for every single player experience, allow it to drop for splitscreen. Same as what the MCC did. The people who want to play splitscreen will be fine with that. Only reason against it seems to be pretty shoddy or strange coding that links the framerate to physics in a way that doesn't allow for it.

I was not fully aware of this when I ordered the game, even though I know remember people mentioning it. Will still play and probably enjoy but damn. This is quite disappointing. I suppose there's no way they're still going to add it in now, as that's likely impossible?

It's because I'm not a native speaker. Lemon is British and has been using British English on a daily basis for all his life. I studied Dutch, French and German before I even started with English in school at age 13. As such, I tend to follow the people I interact with the most. Back when I played ET on mosly UK servers, I typically used 'ou'. Now that I mainly talk to Americans both in real life as well as on here and B.net, I usually use 'o' rather than 'ou'.

Title explains it all. I now have an Xbox One with (as it stands) the Master Chief Collection and some Tomb Raider games. Should be getting Halo 5 soon as well, and Fallout 4, Witcher 3, Dark Souls 3 and perhaps Inquisition are on the wishlist.

Notable progress:
- killed a very big Super Mutant and made my way to 3 Dog
- found a new radio dish and put it at the top of the Washington Monument
- cleared the town of all the fire ants, claimed the rewards, killed the queen
- enslaved the little orphan boy and sold him to the slavers
- made my way to Rivet City
- furthered the main quest by talking to Doctor Li
- found out how Rivet City really started
- robbed every single person, looted all the stores, picked every lock and robbed the armory
- found Pinkerton, revealed the Android's identity to him, got his laser rifle, claimed my reward from Zimmer and then shot Zimmer and his bodyguard
Next stop (as suggested by Bacon): the Anchorage DLC. Never played any of the DLC before, so this should be interesting.
