These are just one of those things that I can't even comprehend how they're supposed to be funny.
the video is comprised almost entirely of inside humor, so i'm not surprised you don't get it
but that should've been obvious anyway
Plenty of similar ones that aren't just inside humor, though. Like the TF2 Gmod stuff, "youtube poops", the ASDF movies and whatnot. It's random and obnoxious for the sake of being random and obnoxious. I'm genuinely baffled by how there's so many people who like that stuff. I get that this one goes above my head because I've never watched game grumps, but I'm talking more about the style of the video in general.
Are you really baffled that people like that? Can you not see the appeal?
I really can't and never have. Not bashing anyone's taste in humor here, but I just don't get it. I've seen dozens of them over the years and remember watching them ages ago when the genre was just becoming popular. Never thought it was funny or even understood why it was supposed to be.

Trash.
What if I told you that it's minute and not minute?
I'd sue your ass for millions if not billions of dollars for misleading advertising.

Part of the job, I guess. I had to read through all of them and haven't seen the movie yet. Good thing I'm not a big Star Wars fan.
I wasn't directly referring to you.
I used quick reply on the first page, so I didn't even see what you said. :)

I seriously don't understand why some of you hate the idea of guests because they're supposedly so terrible. Just got done playing an Arena slayer game (I went 17 kills 11 deaths) with two of my team mates going 2 kills 15 deaths and 1 kill 11 deaths. I'm finding just as many terrible solo players now as I did terrible guests back on Halo 3 and Reach.

That being said, I have to admit that 343 did a pretty good job with weapon balance. It's nice to see how weapons that used to be heavily outclassed or only situationally good are now actually usable.

but I've never met any "liberal" who thinks of the US as nothing but a terrible country and an exceptionally shameful display of humanity.
Like Howard Zinn mentioned in the video, they're probably talking about people like Michael Moore and Noam Chomsky. But no, you're average American liberal probably doesn't think that.
Yeah, I figured as much. Just pointing out that his constant "the left says..." is very dishonest.

I'm pretty neutral on this, I suppose.

No, the US is not the prime example of an evil, morally corrupt and putrid nation that promotes hatred, sexism and xenophobia. It wasn't anywhere near the first country to abolish or condemn slavery, but says nothing about the moral standard of the country. It's a good place to live, a nation that made significant contributions to mankind, and the most dominant and influential player on the world stage.

But on the other hand, the US isn't a shining beacon of progress and acceptance either. Far from it, from what I can tell. The country contributed a lot to humanity as a whole, but it's in no way exceptional or inherently superior than other developed countries. The US, in that sense, is simply lucky. It's an absolutely massive country with an abudance of natural resources, safely situated and isolated from global conflict, founded on the premises and principles put forth by some of Europe's greatest thinkers. It had everything to become exceptional handed to it on a silver platter and, perhaps, at one point it truly was exceptional. But now? Nothing but a military and economic super power that is no more progressive, free, equal, full of opportunity and good to live in than most other developed nations.

"The most morally superior country in history. The least racist, least xenophobic country in the world. The last best hope of earth and the best society ever created, giving more opportunity, equality and freedom than anywhere else in the world, waging wars and protecting people abroad for no reason other than to fight genocide and tyranny." Propaganda / 10.

Very biased video. I'm not American myself, but I've never met any "liberal" who thinks of the US as nothing but a terrible country and an exceptionally shameful display of humanity. As far as I'm aware, "the left" is just a lot more open to the country's flaws than the right, without condemning it as a terrible place to live.

At this point I am genuinely worried about your country.
Why? None of these people stand a chance.

Hilary was always going to win.
That's still quite worrying.
I don't like Hilary, but I don't know about worrying.

What do you mean specifically?
I don't really care much about American politics at this point, but she hardly seems like an amazing candidate. Known lies, many corporate ties, swinging on the issues... It doesn't help that she comes across kind of like a bitch. I realize that this applies to most candidates and that she's still better than most, but that really doesn't say much.
You're right, but really when it comes to American presidents, it's a choice between the shiniest of two turds. Hillary I think is the better choice out of an overall shit show.
Oh, I definitely don't disagree. I'm just saying that even the shinier turd is still a stinking and dirty turd. Hillary is better than just about anything the Republicans have to offer, but the prospect of her becoming the president of the US is still not a very reassuring or comforting one.
