Can we see one (with the links removed or blacked out or whatever)?

The Flood / For those wondering about the spambots

I just stopped this one from showing up on the forum. Contrary to most, this one actually has some legibility to it and isn't just a heap of random links and Russian text. I also thought this one was quite funny, with quotes such as "teeth won't do your teeth plenty of good" and "move on the net before he catches up, injured native animal". The fact that nothing in the thread has anything to do with the title "best price comparison site" is also indicative of the effort put into these.

4653
Yeah, cleaning up after them is pretty annoying. You guys don't ever have to see them because mods have to approve first posts. Most of their spam consists of massive walls of text and links to shady websites selling meds and electronics.

I believe I've posted pictures of one before, but sure. I'll take a screenshot of the next one I block. Don't expect too much of it though, they're typically nothing but "OVER THE COUNTER XANAX OVERNIGHT DELIVERY FDA APPROVED FREE TRIAL 30 DAYS NO CUSTOMS FEE HIGH QUALITY SAFETY GUARANTEE SHIPPING DELIVERY TRACKING INTERNATIONAL" with a bunch of Russian links thrown in there until it maxes out the character limit for a post.

I think I was referred before posting because my account was dormant for a good three months before actually posting. Is this common practice? What does it do?
Not entirely sure what you're asking.

This is news? He's been one of the world's best athletes in his sport for years. Neither him or any other family members had been in contact with the estranged brother for 3 years. If anything, having every single one of his future accomplishments tainted by being reported on as "TERRORIST'S BROTHER DOES X" would be 'punishment' enough. He's not his brother and he's not responsible for someone else's actions. As much as I regret what happened half an hour from where I live, I'm glad he's going and that we're sending a pretty clear message of unity. I'm definitely hoping he does well.

Smoke weed until life seems okayish, play games, work out.
Why the weed dude?
Sacrifice sleep and free time to add another few thousand words to my thesis as it is due on Wednesday.
Thesis on what subject?
Privacy related concerns in the European Data Protection Reforms in the area of law enforcement and criminal justice.

With the hyphen and it's a common enough phrase for local authorities and the like in bongistan.

Egh, I've seen that in how they want me to do references for essays and accessing digital materials. I'd just put the 1st 2nd 3rd 4th suffixes as appropriate regardless tbh
I feel it's becoming more and more popular especially for legal writings. It's the EU standard, so quite a few people all over the world are adopting it because of that.

Example: "Member States shall adopt and publish, by 6 May 2018, the laws, regulations and administrative provisions necessary to comply with this Directive."
I imagine it's to make a more standardised format then, because I'm not sure if 1st applies in france for example. If runes hadn't replaced all the frog in my system i'd be able to remember the 'first second third' in french but all i can think of is jap.

Kill me before the infection spreads to english pls
Premier, deuxième, troisième.

But yeah, I'm just talking about English here. In Dutch, for example, the standard is "twintig mei 2016" (twenty May 2016) in that order.

Is "risk-appropriate" proper English? With the hyphen or without?

Also, is it grammatically correct to write a date as "20 May 2016"? I'm seeing it become increasingly common.

A number of possible explanations come to mind.

- People trolling and not taking it seriously.

- Players who actually have a Reddit account, use the forums regularly and are a member of the community outside of the game itself are much more likely to be better than the people who just play the game every so often without being so invested in it that they participate on the relevant subreddits.

- Dunning-Kruger effect (unskilled people are more likely to suffer from illusory superiority and overestimate their own capabilities while skilled people are more likely to underestimate themselves and their own performances).

- League is a lower tier skill game making it considerably easier to mistakenly rank oneself higher than reality. :^)

However having 3 tests due the same day? One project for science and a group project needing to be done? Well fuck me that is gonna suck.
Still, enjoy it while it lasts. It's going to get a lot harder if you aspire certain fields of tertiary education.

Honestly. Not gonna be like you in a University.

I aspire for computer programming or game design/programming when I head to college...so yeah.
No love for the law?

Just not interested in it
Fair enough. Not a fan of American law either.

Protip: don't let nobody know you're a brony... you WILL get beat up.
Not if you make clear your favorite pony is top tier like Fluttershy or Rarity.

Have you ever felt like you're missing out? My parents are very accomplished and intelligent people, but I could not imagine them being able to educate me as well on some things as the highly qualified teachers I've had over the years. Additionally, there's the whole social interactivity thing that you've missed out on as well. Homeschooling has always sounded like a terrible idea to me.

AAAAAUUUUUUGGGGGGHHHHHH BUT I LIVE IN FLORIDA!!

OH GOD A SINGLE WORLD GOVERNMENT! JUST FUCKING KILL MEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

Was expecting this to be about a dream where you woke up to 99% voting against the Brexit and flags like this flying outside of your window.

Then where does all this concern with the Brexit come from? Purely academic interest or concerns with supranational organizations?

Yeah, visited Valencia and Madrid. Gotta go back for Barcelona one time though.

4677
could you expand on that
On b.net, there's occasionally a 'what game takes the most skill?' poll, and there is generally a lot of salty replies over people not thinking their favourite game takes the most skill. It doesn't happen often but I still think it's a bit dumb to be rating games based solely on skill, when a majority of the people in those threads wouldn't give two shits about the top level competitive metagame under any other circumstances.
Everybody already knows that Quake is the best anyways.

I don't mean the good dank either. Half the lights were off and the glass was filled with shitty proxies.
This reminds me of Verb's thread about things that can and cannot be dank.
