How does competitive ranking work? Is it just team wins/losses?
No. Its a mess of quickplay stats, individual achievements and wins/losses. After you get placed its based on personal stats how many points you win/lose with each match.
Ah, I'm glad to hear that it incorporates individual skill and not just team successes. I'm not a fan of systems which do that, as it subjects too many skilled players to the whims of randoms and over represents coordinated teams.

Are you garbage?
But playing League makes you garbage by default.
hello I'm Tyger and I'm 4 months sober
Proud of you man. The first step is always to admit that you have a problem.

I did not make it 30 seconds into that video.
It's satire, FYI. He's parodying people like AngryJoe and other loud opinionated idiots who just flock to hate this game because it's popular to do so.
Fair enough, but that doesn't make it any better of a video. I'm curious about his points now, but I'm not going to subject myself to 7 minutes of that for it.

Do you class expansions (IE like what they do in Fallout/ TES with a new area/ quests/ weapons/ armour) in this or do you just mean like map packs and stuff?
The latter is far more egregious, and I hold a lot more contempt for it. But DLC in general is something I've always despised, just on the principle that no one should ever have to pay more than $60 for a complete game. No matter what.
I agree when it comes to games like Destiny where modders found nearly completed DLC areas locked behind paywalls within the first days of the game coming out, or others where they're already well into creating the DLC before the game is even out, but other than that? You are paying just $60 for a complete game. Everything else is just an extra, optional bonus. It's for those who are really into the game and are willing to pay something more for an add-on that is not at all required to enjoy the completeness of the original game. I mean, it's one thing for them to just put out weapon skins or cut content, but when it's an entirely new expansion that took the production team months to make and is distinct from the original? I can't see anything wrong with that.

This is hands down the lamest shit I've ever seen in a pokemon game. It's that sudden reminder that this is a Japanese game made by weaaboos.

Thoughts? I didn't give my son the "recommended" early vaccinations. There were just too many at once. I decided to spread them out.
That honestly seems like the best method. How far apart?
The CDC reccommends about 50 shots for 14 diseases and want all that done by age 6. The majority of them coming before age 3. Basically when they said "oh hes gonna need to get 5 shots this doctors visit", I always say, just give him two or 3, and we'll get the next ones the next time he comes in.
So basically I've just been spacing them out so he gets them each time gets a checkup instead of 5 or 6 at once. That way he still gets all his shots, hes just not overloading his body with them all at once.
Hm
If I ever have kids in the future, I'll have to do that I think. I didn't even know you had a kid, honestly. Well, good job for thinking things through like that.
Why though? As far as I'm aware, it's really just fearmongering. There's no sound medical reason to spread vaccinations out any more than what most medical organisations recommend. It's just pure emotion that'll ultimately just put your kid through more sets of injections than by following the guidelines. To my knowledge, there's absolutely no reason to claim that those shots in that time frame is any more harmful than to prolong it all.

Still studying? Or just in between jobs?
No studying. No Jobs. Literally sitting around trying to overcome a health condition so I can move on with my life.
At least it's out of your control and you can get back to it once you deal with whatever health condition is troubling you. Best of luck.

Grads?
I assumed you were a new graduate starting your first job.
Oh yeah, I'm just not familiar with the terminology. Graduated earlier this year and am just starting out as a researcher at a university institution.

Oh and because I'll be working on a project of the European Commission and will be dealing with EU institutions, all of my more eurosceptic friends are welcome to tell me what to ask or say when I inevitably meet Juncker <3.
Ask him about his cuckolding fetish.
I'll let him know even his American fans are thinking of him.

Just a couple things that grads often put on the back-burner:
-Keep records of any contracts, awards, qualifications, etc. that you earn, because nobody will care more about your professional record than you will -Start investing in your retirement plan of choice immediately, and make sure it isn't all allocated to safe, low-return options
Grads? And yeah, I'll definitely do those. My university has a great online platform for all of your qualifications, publications and so forth to manage your CV and I'm currently just going to follow my dad's lead on the investments.

That is one hell of a job. The resume and the contacts you will get. Well it's time for you to climb that corporate ladder.
Congrats.

Thanks man. I'm hoping to avoid corporate for another while and dedicate myself to academics first.

Congratulations, you've already done more with your life than anyone else here
Well I am one of the older people here. Many of our members are still in high school or college, and I think those who aren't are mostly employed and have things going for them. I'm already 23, so there's that.
Don't make excuses for these worthless sack of shit
Lol. Well I appreciate the sentiment. Thanks.

I'll be working on a project of the European Commission and will be dealing with EU institutions
Requesting lock
Nah but seriously, good going. Will you be working in a group? Alone? What exactly does your job entail?
It's mainly individual contributions to a larger group effort. This is a large and expensive project involving a considerable number of universities, research centers and governmental / police / judicial institutions from several EU member states (including the UK, still) and even US cooperators. Each particularly focuses on the situation in their own country, but is also assigned a specific area of expertise. Out of all those, my work will involve legal and privacy aspects as part of a small team. What I will actually be doing is research such as identifying and solving legal / privacy issues, analysing the implementation and compatibility of the project in national member states' legal systems and existing police / judicial regulations and practices, and aiding in drafting the final EU guidelines and legislation by contributing to EU Deliverables sent to the Commission, Parliament and other EU organs. And then I'll also be publishing articles for legal journals, potentially contribute to other national projects requiring IT law expertise, assist in university tasks (lectures, assisting essays) and work on my PhD proposal for next year so I can get my doctorate's (hopefully).

I know it's a space thing with a lot of that mass that therefore greatly attracts things in space. That's about it.

I've seen dragons before in this game, but to my understanding, none of them have been "true" dragons, or "everlasting" dragons. This tooth belonged to an everlasting dragon. Dang.[/li][/list]
Yeah, the ones you've seen so far are either wretched abominations of dragons (Gaping Dragon), or just the much smaller Wyverns and Drakes (the blue lightning breathing ones in the Valley of Drakes or the red one breathing fire on the bridge in the Undead Burg).

De Standaard. De Morgen. De Redactie.
Reuters. BBC. New York Times. Al Jazeera.
I don't actually "listen" to anything though. I just read, listening simply takes too long.
And then there's also the obvious ones like Europa.eu, EU Observer and Euractive, but those really go without saying and I assume everyone has them bookmarked already.
