I never knew there was such a thing as a mayo hater.
There are legit people out there who don't have their fries with mayo. I couldn't believe it at first either, but they do exist. Disgusting.

I never had a problem with your posts tbh.
It's not 5 pages, nor is it an essay in MLA style. Hope I didn't disappoint this time. I'm just taking the piss out of myself, really. Casper made the example in another thread and it was a pretty funny and good remark (got a lot of upvotes too). I know my posts tend to be long and kind of technical (by the lack of a better word). It's always kind of been that way. It's how I was taught and expected to write in high school. And going into law has only made my propensity for it worse. I spend my working days doing research, working on international projects, writing academic publications and supervising students giving legal advice to start-ups and writing their Master's theses, so it seeps into my online posting and writing habits too. I know it's a flaw of mine and I hope people here aren't really bothered by it. Also, it doesn't help that English is pretty much my "formal language". I don't ever write in English outside of forums like these and work, so I just default to serious writing in it. Promise I'm not actually this serious, lol.

Grimdark capeshit is objectively the only capeshit worth watching.

What Turkey said. They can't be compared to the likes of FOX and MSNBC because they're not a legitimate news outlet. They're vloggers doing a show on politics and current events. Their format and approach ultimately don't change that despite them looking for that more professional and credible theme.
And that makes it a lot easier to answer your second question. I think the reason they draw viewers is a sense of belonging and confirmation bias. If you look at them not as a news outlet but as just a political webshow, that becomes a lot more clear. People watch them for the same reason people watch the likes of Alex Jones / Paul Watson, Crowder and Milo whatshisname from Breitbart. They just do so from a progressive rather than conservative point of view. They don't watch these shows to get an objective, neutral and factually accurate analysis of or insight into politics and current events. They watch because they want to fit and feel validated. They want to see someone who looks like he knows what he's talking about in a fancy show on the internet agree with them and confirm their beliefs. Someone who makes a mockery of the people they don't agree with or who takes numbers and figures at face value to draw shallow conclusions or mistake correlation for causation. It's not about getting the whole and truthful big picture or evaluating all sides fairly. It's about validation and getting a feelgood experience over others with money and an audience agreeing with them and painting things in a skewed and lopsided way which confirms their own bias. And that's why I think TYT are popular for the same reason those other guys are, even though they do try to present themselves more as an actual news outlet.
It's not 5 pages, nor is it an essay in MLA style. Hope I didn't disappoint this time.

It says he was referred to a crown court but since the conditions are largely in favour of a prosecution why wasn't he arrested and then referred? What's stopping him from running to Vietnam or Thailand?
He's out on conditional bail.

The Chicago Detectives commander said that "kids will be kids."
How do I convince my dad to move out of this terrorist state?
Like Challenger said, pretend to be in a gang.

Sure we can laugh at him. I was just refer to the OP about the court being too small to handle the case comment.

Exam period is about to start here. All law students are studying for their exams now. Feels good not having to do that for the first time in 7 years. Even better, now that I'm university staff I get to see it all from the other side. I'm supervising, guiding and correcting 3 Master's theses and will have to oversee a few exams to make sure all codexes are in order and that no one is cheating. Fun fun.

Yeah, gotta wait and see for sure. There's two big issues with this. One, technical feasibility. It's one thing to be able to run the game elsewhere through the cloud and do so at high framerates and top notch settings. But to have it register your inputs, send it to their systems, be processed in their systems, sent back to your PC and then displayed on your screen? That's a big latency risk. And depending on what game you play, even a few ms of delay can really screw things up. Two, pricing scheme. Your casual gamer probably doesn't care enough about his games to pay an extra fee on top of his own system and the game itself, making having to pay per hour you play a pretty big turn off for most (I imagine, at least). And your gaming enthusiast tends to already put in so many hours of game time that the yearly cost of the streaming service could probably net him a decent PC that will last him a while and that he can game on as much as he wants without having to worry about paying for playtime. I'm sure there's a market for it, but those are two pretty big obstacles.

I'm sorry but I have that spot occupied and I'm to lazy to vacate that said spot so feck off
I'll fight you
I already won the fight, you just don't know it yet
For reference, I expect all resumes to be in this format and style.

This is your resume isn't it?
I wish. I'm sure it would wow all future employers.

There's a joke in there about all Trump supporters being special needs by default, but this is awful. Fuck those people. I hope they get charged.

It's a very competitive environment, so I'm going to need to see some résumés.
I like mayo on fries
See, this is the kind of motivation and commitment I'm looking for.

It'd work a lot better if Euro shitholes weren't forced to adopt it.
This. It should've been limited to a smaller number of countries.

Wait until later or get good, I guess. Stack fire resistance armor if possible. Roll through the water jars before the fight and/or use flash sweat pyromancy. Constantly pop lifegems to deal with the flame damage. And then just don't get hit.

Donald Trump, populism in Europe. Fall of Euro & EU. Zelda. What's not to be excited about?
But literally all of the things you said are bad and not to be excited about. Well, maybe not Zelda. But still.
