But it really isn't even a question of whether it's true; the ninth circuit court has no power of judicial review over an executive order. Fuck Trump, but as ineloquently as he put it, they have no judicial authority on the matter.
Do you have any sources on that? I'm no expert on American law because I don't think it's very interesting, but to my knowledge executive orders are definitely subject to judicial review by federal courts. And unless I'm mistaken, circuit courts of appeal are federal and fully capable of assessing the legality of executive orders or have them taken all the way up to your supreme court. Edit: did a quick search and came up with these: https://qz.com/898683/can-an-executive-order-be-revoked/http://www.tolerance.org/blog/executive-orders-and-checks-and-balances"Executive orders are also subject to judicial review; like laws, they can be challenged in the federal courts and ultimately go all the way to the Supreme Court."

why 2ds though
Cheap, good quality and no 3D gimmick.
but not only can the 3D be turned off (standard procedure for all 3DS owners), Pokémon Sun & Moon don't even support a 3D function, because apparently Game Freak or Nintendo finally realized how much people don't care about that shit
which is kinda funny in a sad way (or sad in a funny way, i dunno)
also, the lack of a clamshell design makes it look pretty dopey imo
Sure, but the fact that the feature is there means you're still paying for it. It's good you can turn it off, but if you're never ever going to use it either way it's a waste of money. Of course, the 3DS is still a better console regardless of that feature and there's plenty of reasons to get one if you wan the bigger screen or are going to be a hardcore user, but the lack of 3D / clamshell does bring down the price. Especially if you only care about games like Pokemon and are more casual about it, the 2DS is a pretty damn great deal. I don't think I would've even gotten back into these games hadn't I be able to buy a 2DS and Pokemon X/Y for $70.

Stopped taking you seriously here. Well that doesn't do you any favors. I'm not saying that there hasn't been slanted reporting of Trump, but him lashing out at valid news reports which he tries to discredit as fake news (see: the travesty of him attacking media for covering the demonstrable fact that he saw less attendance at his inauguration than Obama did) is something else entirely. Leader of the free world and home of the free, my ass. I still can't believe anyone could support this pathetic excuse of a leader. The fun part is that Obama did most of the shit you accuse Trump of doing. I don't say that to excuse Trump. But this is what it looks like when the pendelum swings back.
Centralization of power is a fuckin cunt, isn't she?
Source, please.

As conspiracy tier it might sound, Trump really does seem to be putting together an autocracy.
Publicly bullying people with less power for disagreeing with him. Openly trying to silence opposition. Targeting the media with unfounded smear campaigns in an attempt to discredit any negative reporting. Deliberately spreading clear lies and factually incorrect information at such a disgusting rate that people have already accepted post-truth and have stopped caring about their government pushing demonstrably false narratives. Challenging checks and balances. Undermining the authority of branches supposed to keep him in check. Personally attacking people for the sole reason of them doing their job and upholding their civil duty and the rule of law. Ignoring detestable acts by those supporting him while endlessly bringing up the wrongdoings of others. Openly praising, supporting and gaining approval from repressive regimes and factual dictatorships around the world. Filling the swamp with ever more of his cronies and people with zero qualifications for the sole reason that they are paying his party. Publicly putting blame on people who disagree with him so that he can shake off all responsibility and attack dissidents if things go sour.
Leader of the free world and home of the free, my ass. I still can't believe anyone could support this pathetic excuse of a leader.

i dont know why you need any programming considering what you do. but im biased in my recommendations; matlab and python. java i guess, but i fucking hate java
My area of expertise is ICT (information and communications technology) law. It comprises everything in law related to data protection and privacy, software licenses / ToS, media and telecoms, cybercrime and cybersecurity (spam, hacking, DDoS attacks), data retention and mass surveillance, internet of things / AI / self-driving vehicles / drones, law enforcement and criminal investigations / procedure (network searches, crawlers, darkweb), encryption, human rights online (censorship, hate speech), net neutrality and so on.
Because of this I interact with programmers and engineers on a very regular basis. And as is often the case, we're considered the "bad guys" limiting what they can do. Communicating legal requirements to programmers and getting them to comply is often a major pain. I'm already reasonably well versed in the basics of IT systems and how computer programs work, but knowing more would help me understand "the technical partners" and their approach better as well as letting me get through to them more easily at the technical level. It's absolutely no necessity and I'm good at what I do as it is, but I think this could still help me in some cases.
For example, I was recently present at a high level workshop on Cloud computing and encryption. Five minutes into the first presentation and I was lost staring at slides full of mathematical formulas and code. Now I wasn't expected to understand this nor was it important (I don't think anyone on this forum save for maybe Turkey (?) would have any clue of what was going on), but it's the kind of stuff that makes me want to be more knowledgable on the technical and mathematical side of this.
well id recommend a course about logic to go with programming. programming is essentially making commands and understanding why and how they work. its really simple doing programming on paper, but yea, take java or C.
I've taken two logic courses before, so I should be fine in that regard. Logic / argumentation were prerequisites for getting my law degree as it's pretty important for debating, pleading and conveying complex arguments. And I'll probably go with Java if I end up committing to this.

Literally 99% of all supply drops are entirely cosmetic.
They said the same thing with BO3's supply drops
I wouldn't know, but we're talking about right now. 3 items out of 200+ affect gameplay and not in a game-breaking way while they've just patched some of the biggest complaints people have. At this point I think it's pretty inaccurate to call it pay-to-win or suggest they don't deal with actual problems the game has.

They turned one of the best CoDs into pay-to-win garbage and still ignore actual problems with the game.
Why do you say that? Literally 99% of all supply drops are entirely cosmetic. The melee weapons are cool because they replace the knife animation, but dreadful to use. I haven't seen a single person running around with one aside from when they were just released. The only 3 gameplay changing additions are these new weapons. The Magnum is no better than the Deagle and the new shotgun has pitiful range and is worse than the pump action one if you can aim somewhat decently. The new assault rifle is definitely strong, but all the clickbait titles are a bit overstated. It's definitely one of the top rifles, but I've gotten the chance to pick it up a few times and it's still outclassed by the M16. It also has pretty small magazine size and slow reloads. The M4 and AK47 are at about the same level, save for extreme distances. As for the actual problems with the game, the recent update also increased server send rate for better hit detection and smoother gameplay, overhauled the spawns and fixed several known bugs. There's plenty of reasons not to like this, but I definitely disagree that they're turning the game into a pay-to-win situation at the cost of ignoring actual issues.

Java and Python are good places to start.
Hmm, seems like it. Although C++ seems more useful, but probably harder to pick up.

I never could get into quake, I wish I had though. Read an article recently about how it wasn't a simple progression model like CoD but that you get better at the game itself.
I've always liked games that have high skill ceilings and allowed players with enough time to excel and become legend ™.
I think I'll be playing titanfall for a while.
Yeah, you definitely should've. It's such a great game. As far as I know, no other FPS has such a high skill ceiling. Brilliant movement too. Its movement is similar to Titanfall, aside from the wallrunning and boosts like stim or the grappling hook, only with more control and advanced strafing, bouncing and jumping techniques. Quake 3 came out in 1999 and there's still yearly world championships of people just trying to get through new maps as fast as possible. The movement alone is so versatile and high skilled that it created an entire scene of racing/trickjumping just around it. Definitely give these two clips a watch, they're short and a pretty good example of what it's like. It looks surprisingly easy, but every jump has to be timed perfectly and the mouse movements are extremely precise to build speed while strafing. Probably the reason I've taken a liking to Titanfall too.

Java is a good first language. Its easy to read, not too convoluted. highly recommend it as a starting point. As for places - YouTube has plenty of material. microsoftvirtualacademy is also good for stuff.
bigdatauniversity.com is good for data analysis if you're into that.
I definitely am. I forgot to write it down but it's one of the ones I wanted to mention specifically.

Any suggestions on how I'd go about this? Specifically requirements engineering, data provenance, algorithmic integrity/accountability and, obviously, basic coding.
Places like Codeacademy and Coursera seem like a good place to start.
Also, what languages?

The skill ceiling for this game is phenomenal
That's pretty cool. Looks almost like a slower Quake. I don't imagine that being easily done on consoles though.
Yeah I'm pretty decent but I doubt I could pull that off
Bruv, let me play that on PC and I could totally do that. I've always loved stuff like that and put countless hours into Defrag, Wolfenstein: ET trickjumping and Quake jumps. I even made awesome trickjumping videos way back then, lol.

Heineken is awful.
Get out
Milk stouts or a heavy wheat should have been your first choice.
The beer you chose is garbage.
To you simpleton it's garbage. You must be a budwiser drinker
But Heineken is low tier as fuck.

Well, there's always the good old "get gud" so that you just win and don't rage anymore.
But if that isn't an option, you should probably just stay away from the games (or their competitive multiplayer aspect) you know get you stressed out. Can't really give you much advice because it's not something I've ever had issues with. Audibly going "come on" or just stop playing for the day is probably the worst I've done in terms of video game rage.
