you going to play spider solitaire on that machine
You going to play some pinball with that beast?
You going to play some mahjong on that rig?
300 FPS for all of them, of course.

You going to post some of the benchmarks with that beast?
http://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/3224160Everything performing above expectations putting me at 111% UFO on UserBenchmark. Would've been higher if I didn't have a bunch of other programs open too and if it wouldn't have included my 5 year old store brand USB stick I used to install Windows with. Not sure why my RAM is performing below expectations. Anyone have any suggestions? Pretty sure they're in the right slot and everything.

Not usually the one to make these threads, but no one else is. Trailer looks alright, but looks can be deceiving (as we all know). Let's hope they don't mess this up with how good their cast is. Gadot is great, Momoa looks like he was born for the role and Ezra Miller seems just right for it too.

Sure. What'd be the best software for it? The Userbenchmark one?

I'll never let my child get abused by such a procedure.
We disagree on a lot of things, but you do have some top tier opinions on certain things.

In your research, did you come up with anything about upgrading monitors? I've had the same monitors for probably 7 years and they're still 1080p, decent refresh rate, etc, I just don't if it's worth it to get news ones. Let me know what you think of your speakers, too; I've had the same set of speakers for well over a decade, so that's another thing I'm late to upgrade.
Monitors was already something I knew quite a bit about. What would you primarily use your new one for? Gaming? Because if so, I can fully recommend 144hz. I noticed the difference the second I turned it on by just moving the mouse across the screen.
Movies and games, yeah. I'd keep the old ones for utility, but I feel like my current ones are a bit outdated.
For movies there's around 4 things you'll want to consider. Type of screen, size, resolution and the kind of media you typically watch. The size is obvious. The bigger the better if you can do it without sacrificing any of the other aspects, although too big can be off putting if you're sitting too close to it. Resolution ties in together with the kind of media you watch. 4k movies are becoming more and more popular, so if you're interested in 4k blu-rays or use streaming services which offer it, you might be interested in upgrading to that. If not, there's no intermediary between 1080p and 4k as far as movies go, so no real point in upgrading there. As for the type of screen, there's 4 to consider. TN, VA, IPS and OLED. This does a great job at explaining the difference and is also a generally top notch site for checking out monitors. Basically, OLED is best but really expensive while IPS is close and much more affordable. VA is a bit worse and TN is the most common but lowest tier. These types affect things like viewing angles, accuracy of colors, deeper blacks, brighter whites, better contrast... which matters quite a bit if you're serious about watching your movies and shows. This ties together with the color gamut (or range of possible colors) of your screen, which can go from sub sRGB to sRGB to 90+ RGB and full RGB. You'll want to go for at least sRGB, but anything higher really only matters for graphical designers. So for movies, find out what type of your current screens are and ask yourself if you want something bigger, better suited for new high res media, or better colors / general viewing experience. As for gaming, things are a little different. Color isn't as important, but other things are. Here you first want to look at your input lag and response time ( which are not the same, contrary to popular belief). The lower these times, the faster your screen responds to changes and the faster your inputs are shown, or the better you'll be able to play. You should look into the specs of your current monitors and see how they compare to newer, faster models. Depending on how good or bad they are, you can see a pretty noticeable improvement in performance. Then, you also want to look at the refresh rate. The higher the refresh rate, the faster your screen refreshes with new information (obviously), making it smoother and faster. 60 is alright, 75 is decent but 144 or even higher is really quite nice. Of course, the downside here is that to be able to fully utilize higher refresh rates, your PC must be able to run your games at FPS rates matching or surpassing your refresh rate. A 200hz screen won't do you much good if you're only capable at putting out 60fps. So before investing in that, make sure you actually have the hardware to support it. So yeah, it comes down to what your current screens are still capable of and what you want to get out of your viewing experience. I'm very happy with the one I've got now. Mine is "only" a TN model, meaning that the colors / viewing angles aren't the best possible (which I don't mind much because I don't plan on using it for serious movie watching), but it's very affordable (only $200) and offers amazing performance at 144hz with lightning fast input / response times. Whether it's worth it to upgrade really depends on your situation. I'd suggest you check out the details / specs of your old screen and then have a look around. Might be that they're severely lacking in some areas or that they're really not that outdated at all.

They're pretty great (4.5 stars out of a few thousand reviews) but pretty outdated. I'm more of a headphones guy anyways, so it's not a big deal to me. If you're looking for headphones though, I can always recommend Sennheiser.

I'll probably steal this build, look good and I should have the funny for it with my summer student finance
Be my guest. I spend dozens of hours looking for the ideal parts at the best price. This is a top build at a really nice price (for me at least).

And oh boy, does this thing work. 144hz monitors are great. Everything is so smooth. Playing Quake and Overwatch on Ultra at 250+ FPS. Idle temps at around 30, gaming at around 65. And just using the PC is great too, everything loads instantly.
Getting some screen-tearing?
So little I can't even tell. Enabling V-sync makes it even more smooth, but I'm not a fan of the mouse smoothing effect it gives.

Yeah, still pretty nerve wrecking though.

Let me take a shot in the dark. Muslim Refugee.
Prime Minister just confirmed that the attacker was "British born".
http://www.bbc.com/news/live/uk-39355505
Thanks for the daily dose of sad prejudice, though.
Is it really prejudice though? It would be like me saying that you are using Chrome to post this. An educated guess based on statistics.
Is it, though? To my knowledge, there have been 0 fatalities in the US resulting from terrorist attacks committed by Muslim refugees. In the entirety of Europe, I can only think of 2 serious attacks over the past several years that involved actual refugees / asylum seekers. When considering PSU's views of politics, immigration and foreigners altogether, I am going to attribute this largely to prejudice. It's like with the attacks in Canada recently. Numerous people (him included, I can't remember) were very quick to call out immigrants and foreigners not because of statistics, but because they're anti-immigration and disagreed with Canada's policy. The moment it was revealed that our mass murderer was not Muslim or immigrant, but rather a staunch right-wing Trump supporting nationalist, things went quiet real fast.
This wouldn't just be assuming I'm using Chrome. This would be "I use Firefox and think that stupid people use Chrome, so partially because I don't agree with you I'm going to say you use Chrome."
Oh, refugees? I though we are talking about Muslims in general regardless where they came from.
Well, PSU's post literally says "Muslim refugees". I agree that there's a strong case to be made that terrorist attacks are nowadays likely committed by Islamic extremists and that it's reasonable to suspect that (it's not at all unlikely that the perpetrator in this scenario still turns out to be Muslim), but PSU's post goes beyond that and is clearly fueled by his own prejudice and views on immigration.

I think the image with the woman wearing a burka was for comedic purpose only. Anyone who took it as "Yeah, cuz she a mudslum." is an idiot. How many people walk by a crime scene or an accident scene daily? Life goes on.
Well, a lot of people simply are idiots and this picture has been going around extensively as "Muslims don't even care". http://www.news.com.au/technology/online/social/whats-wrong-with-this-photograph/news-story/9fafd1a593f4c94e86c782b6b59cf385My comment wasn't so much against just him (if he was joking, then I completely missed it - but I'm somehow doubtful of that), but against all people like that. And I'm sure there's literally tens of thousands of them out there.

She doesn't even give a shit
HOLY FUCK LOOK AT THIS WHITE PIECE OF TRASH. He's just walking by WITH THIS FUCKING PHONE OUT. Does he EVEN GIVE A SHIT? FUCKING KKK NAZI SUPPORTING TERRORISM?? OH MY GOD JUST LOOK AT THIS WOMAN. Fucking despicable! These ASIANS have so little RESPECT FOR US that they're just going to parade around NOT EVEN LOOKING AT THE CARNAGE?? She doesn't EVEN GIVE A SHIT and HATES THE WEST because she CONDONES TERRORISM!! What a misleading and unnecessarily divisive comment man. It's a snapshot of the situation. They rarely ever capture the full picture. Shock does strange things to people. Maybe she was just trying to get out of there asap because, you know, a terrorist attack took place 5 minutes prior. Or maybe she had been standing by watching for a bit before walking away. Or maybe she just doesn't feel safe being a Muslim in such a situation. Or maybe she's frantically trying to get in touch with her friends or family so they can tell each other they're okay. Or maybe she's just a normal person who has no interest in seeing the bloody remains of a dead person on the sidewalk and tries to just avoid it. This is just dumb.

Ask if she's got a list of questions, or if you work for a firm see if they have a PR guy that has some info.
Yeah, I got the questions beforehand. Just trying to prepare myself as best as possible now. It's not just a random reporter but an actual cybersecurity expert who knows a lot about this already.
You want to know exactly the message you're trying to provide, but definitely don't script yourself.
Your answers should seem authentic, and informedly off the cuff.
Yeah, that's what I'm going for. Thanks for the advice.
