I'm kinda confused because I entered all these before I picked up the game but don't have any of these...and I can't punch in the codes anymore.
Did you pick them up in the store in-game? You have to "buy" them for the price of 1 glimmer or whatever it is.

Just post them in Updates or Support. No one reads those boards anyways and I'm sure Cheat won't mind. In fact, he actually loves people who do that kind of stuff. Better get to it!

Am I the only one who hasn't pm'd DeeJ complaining about something? *reads thread*
...............I guess so.
I never have either. Never even complained to a mod about anything.

Not sure how many of you care or don't already know about this, but here's a compilation of (as far as I'm aware) all known and public Destiny codes to be entered on Bungie.net. Just go to the Bnet code redemption page, sign in with your account and enter the codes. You can then claim your "rewards" from the specialties store in the Tower. I didn't make this but I figured it was worth sharing anyways.

Also, I got punished. I don't think I'm getting my legacy emblems. I didn't get my legacy emblems either aside from that red one. I'm fairly pissed about that.
What are legacy emblems again?
I'm pretty sure they're working alright for me. At least, I think I have the Legendary one available to me.
Lucky you...
I think I'm still using the default one or a bunny one I found in a loot crate, so I don't really care much. This might help though, it's a list of all known Destiny codes so far.

Well apparently the story isn't over yet. Looks like they're going to be releasing more free story missions in addition to the two expansions.
The story is pretty cliche and poorly explained as it is though. Bungie can release all the free extra missions they want, without a decent foundation there's not much to it.

If I remember what the code was for the Alpha Lupi, I'll give it to you. I have to find that damn thread again.
Feel free to let me know too Deci. That one's my favorite, it's nice, dark and symmetric, just the way I like them.

Trying not to cringe everytime you hear the words "guardian" and "traveler" in-game. It just brings back too many bad memories of twelve year olds on Bnet.
ptsd
Guardians are my trigger. Tumblr pls help.

It's a fun game alright. I played the crap out of it last night. Gonna play more of it today.
I'm not saying it's not fun, I've enjoyed my time playing it. I just can't help but shake the feeling of "...this is it?". 500 million dollars, a massive advertisement campaign, thousands of raving Desticles and a complete site overhaul for what was said to be a game that would change the genre and be played for 10 years after its release? All of that for an unimaginative PVP and a campaign with a letdown of a story and the same mission rehashed dozens of times? Praise the lawd for having Bungie and the retarded Destiny community turning me away from the game and all the hype months before it was released. I would have incredibly disappointed otherwise.

Just like Borderlands
Not really. The similarities between both games are obvious, but Borderlands had a lot more variety. Missions had you assassinate certain targets, gather items, defend objectives. It included races, escapes, horde modes, survival, explore, rescue... Destiny literally is nothing but going to a certain place, killing enemies along the way and "defending" your ghost from a few waves of enemies. Throw in the occasional boss fight and it basically sums up my Destiny experience so far.

I just completed Venus and this is just about every single mission in the entire game so far.
>Ghost tells you to go some place >Shoot aliens on the way over there >Plug in Ghost for it to open a gate / hack a code / retrieve info / whatever boring shit >Defend Ghost while he "needs time" (he never actually needs to time: instead of having to hold out for a certain period the game just usually throws 3 waves of increasingly harder enemies at you. It's also never "defending" because the Ghost has no HP and can't be destroyed. The enemies still focus on you only, so the only way you can "lose" is by dying.) >Phew what a coincidence, Ghost managed to complete whatever he was doing just after all the fighting. Just like the other 23 times so far. >Ghost tells you to go some place else. >Kill stronger enemy >Repeat ad infinitum
I'm seriously disappointed that pretty much every mission plays out the exact same with some extremely minor variations. Sure, sometimes it's retrieving information from a library or hacking a control system instead of opening a gate. And sure, sometimes you have to go places on foot instead of by vehicle. But in the end, the missions are as boring and as linear as can be.
Anyone else feels the same?

If you get it on disc, it's a mandatory 6gb (give or take a few megabytes) install. Just got the game (disc, just like you) for my 360 yesterday, so I know.

In school, not caring about people dying on the other side of the world and realizing they only made up a fraction of the amount of people who died that day.

You better deliver Slash. By the end of this thread, I'm expecting to see a picture of a piece of paper with everything posted written on it by hand.

Here's to not crashing a trolly, almost blaming a coworker and eventually getting fired.
But seriously though, congrats.

Does Metro 2033 count?
I think it does. Great game that got less attention than it should've.

It's sad that it happened, but demanding that everyone cares is pretty ridiculous. Thousands of people die every single day and it's hard to find a date on which no horrible event happened that claimed the lives of dozens of innocents and that could or should be commemorated. There's too many tragedies in this world to expect people to care about those they were never affected by.

Hmm, now I actually wonder something. Would my ancient fucking TV actually support a kinect? Would it even support the Juan? I remember with the 360, there were cables for HD and my old heaper doesn't have that, so I left them out and everything wis still okay.
Nope. All of the next gen consoles require a HDMI port.

Think only Iron Banner takes stats into account. The regular matchmaking is all flat.
How exactly does that work then? Your weapons and gear don't give the damage, defense or attributes listed?
I have no idea, I just read it somewhere. I could be wrong lol
"Bungie has confirmed that they have leveled the damage input and output for Crucible players, regardless of weapons that are brought into the mode." Looks like you're right to some extent. Although I don't know how armor and upgrades work though.

Minecraft still is a chicken with golden eggs, mainly because of its appeal to both adults and young children. There's a ton of money to be made from obsessing twelve year olds whose parents are just happy they're not playing anything more mature.

Betray as in watching your country burn and laughing as its way of life is completely destroyed for no reward other than that satisfaction of knowing the country is being gutted.
I'll pass on that. I'm not a patriot or nationalist in the slightest, but I like it here and would not get enjoyment out of watching the country fucked over.

Would I "betray" my country knowing that by doing so I would improve the life of its people? Yes.
I'm pretty certain that's not what he meant so that was a pretty stupid question.
I've actually talked about stuff like this with Comms before. Knowing how he feels about the current state of his country, I don't think it was a stupid question at all.
