Amish is a sect of some religion, or have I messed up there?
Either way those guys just love to have horses and churn butter.
Orthodox jews that can't use light switches or drive cars on Sundays, for example.

I don't think fuck counts as excessive profanity though. The other ones, sure, but fuck has been such a common word with a rather diverse array of meanings attached to it that censoring that word seems over the top.

You are of pathetic. Greek special force drink this after long training sessions. If we were to show signs of disgust, we were beat for hours and hours. I am men of men, I am power, I am of special force (and rich businessmen living in america)
Glad to see this guy found his way to the offsite.
same. He's one of my favorite RPers to mess with.
Well, he's the only RPer that doesn't make me cringe and some of the things he posts are actually pretty amusing.

Never actually been a plug.dj room. Couldn't be bothered to make an account for it. Maybe I should, sometime.

Definitely a fair question, although you probably should've just told her you were going to get tested. Can't really trust her either way anymore.
I just said that.
Yeah, I noticed that too late. Somehow missed your post.

Not that big of a fan of the taste of alcohol, so I prefer the sweeter tasting ones. This is beer made with cherries. Belgian, of course.

How is it playing SSB on a 3DS? It seems incredibly awkward to play it on such a small screen and with the 3DS controls.

Ehhhh lust does crazy things to you when you give into it every single time. Idrk what were supposed to be discussing here.
The legal status of the consumption of child pornography, in particular whether or not it is deserving of a prison sentence.

You're forgetting a key element here. Destiny doesn't thrive on the more mature and decent gamers. It's founded on thousands of 9 year old Desticles who will gladly chug down whatever shit Deej feeds them. They'll probably keep things alive for several years longer.

It's probably because you're a creepy looking fella with a crooked smile who's flapping a sausage around all day. Tends to be a turn-off for the ladies.

You work for the EU?
I don't, but after getting my law degree last summer, I got an internship at a legal research center. I was assigned to a team there that worked on the Belgian and British implementation of an upcoming proposal to the EU Commission. Interesting stuff.

And only about 50 members are ever online.
That's an awesome amount of people online at a time for a non-commercial forum, mate.
Still it seems strange to have 400+ members and I've never seen the amount online hit even 60.
Natural order of things, really. Always a lot of curious people that don't end up staying. It's no different from streamers or youtuber with several tens of thousands of followers/subscribers that still only average around a 1000 viewers per video.

It looks rather nice actually. No more metro style menu, traditional start button, apps opening in a window.
The start button in 8.1 can be easily solved with a third-party plug-in, though. I'm using Start Menu 8.
Oh I know, I'm using Classic Shell. Just saying that it's nice they're making it like that by default.

Help how?
I don't think putting away people whose only crime is masturbating with rapists and murderers, but how do we help them? Is there a way to rehabilitate them?
Unfortunately, there's relatively little known about pedophilia. I often hear that this is partially due to some kind of vicious cycle. Society demonizes pedophiles, pedophiles are too afraid to seek help, the only "test subjects" for psychologists to evaluate are those caught doing something illegal, the result of that is a very small observation group which leads to little being known about the pedophilic disorder, which then results in ignorance and people hating what they don't understand. But yeah, I don't know exactly how to help these people either. Like Meta said, suppressing urges seems like a real possibility, but other than that and chemical castration? As far as I know, the medical/psychological society doesn't even know how to deal or even classify it.

Paedophilia, like drugs, is a medical issue. It isn't a criminal issue. I firmly believe that the demonisation of paedophiles is one of the last obstacles to a truly liberal society.
I agree with that, but not with the decriminalisation of the consumption of child pornography. As everyone, those who create that kind of ponography go by the simple concept of risk-reward. Legalizing the consumption will introduce thousands of pedophiles that are now too afraid of getting caught and having their life ruined to safely viewing child pornography. It only makes sense that this will fuel the market for it and will thereby greatly increase the reward of those who produce it, instigating them to make more. What does need to happen, is for the stigma on pedophilia to be lifted so that those people can actually seek help without being demonized for it. And perhaps it may not be a bad idea to give limited access to these material for those people that are actually in therapy and being treated for their condition, not too different to how drug addicts are treated. But I'm no expert, so I wouldn't know. Just seems to me that decriminalizing child pornography might do more bad than good and might even push some struggling pedophiles over the edge to do something themselves.

Yeah, I thought it meant that it had to attempt to be humorous, and not that the judge had to find it funny.
Fundamentally the role of the judge is to apply and interpret the abstract concepts of law to concrete cases and ensure the fair and equal treatment of all. This necessarily implies a certain degree of personal opinion, but that is certainly limited. In this context, the judge decides on whether or not a certain act constitutes as a parody, being the humorous mockery of something else. If you'd make a comedy film called "Lord of the Zings" about races in a place called Little-Earth populated by orcs, elves and bobbits who are on a quest to deliver the burn to Mount Shroom, it will count as a parody regardless of whether or not the judge appreciates this kind of humor. But if you were to make a movie called "Lord of the Kings" which is not humorous in the slightest and basically copies LoTR to the letter but with slightly different name and were to commercialise and sell it as your own while claiming copyright doesn't apply because it's a parody? That's when the judge comes in to decide that this is in no way intended to be a humorous mockery, but is instead plain plagiarism.
