If it's not illegal, then it's allowed.
It's illegal enough in plenty of countries.

I used to play the piano. I still can, but it's been a few years without practice.

Not much of a Smosh fan, but that was spot on.

Be sure to document all of this. Not by secretly recording or taping it, but just by keeping an account of how she's treating you and the kids. If it ever comes to a custody dispute in court, this is the kind of stuff that makes the difference.

Alright I think you guys are being a little to hard on Camnator. We forgave and forgot Comm's and his previous activities so give Camnator the same treatment.
Not being hard on him at all. Just giving him a friendly word of advice so that he doesn't end up getting himself banned under the assumption that he can just come back the next minute by creating a series of alts.

IP bans aren't hard to get around. But I don't plan on getting banned.
You don't understand. They're not going to ban your IP. Every new member needs to be manually approved, as if this were a private group back on Bnet. If you end up banned, your obvious alts just won't be approved. Simple.

Well, I could, but I won't have to as long as the bans aren't ridiculous like on Bungie.
Mods have to approve that and your IP is actually logged here. If you get banned, you're going to be out for a while.

Gaming / Re: Bloodborne alpha gameplay
« on: October 04, 2014, 02:34:35 PM »
Why do people keep comparing LOTF with Dark Souls? about from being dark fantasy with tough enemies, the games are nothing alike.
They are pretty damn similar though.

>tough enemies
>dark fantasy
>exact same health and stamina meter (mechanics)
>exact same combat controls (block, light, heavy attack)
>exact same movement controls (dodge, lock-on)
>same gameplay (circling while looking for openings and weaknesses to attack)
>backstabs and critical hits working the same way
>same (retrieving) bloodstain mechanic
>same "inventory" mechanic with healing items and combat utilities
>XP is also currency
>"checkpoints" serving as bonfires where you respawn and where resting will replenish spells and heals
>dying makes enemies in that area respawn

You can't honestly say that the games are nothing alike. There's obvious differences, but the game is undeniably very similar to the Souls series.

Wait, you aren't playing it for free on X360?
What makes you think that I'm not? I just downloaded it for free with GWG.

« on: October 04, 2014, 06:30:18 AM »
I would wait to see what your possible future-spouse thinks. If she really cares about that stuff, you can always choose to get baptised then. But chances are she doesn't, which would make this a non-issue.

I'm surprised that this is the case in the Church of England. As long as one of the two parties is baptised here, you can get married in and for the church.

Septagon / Re: Pics in Quote
« on: October 04, 2014, 05:38:43 AM »
Copying and pasting other people's posts into a quote isn't difficult either, but it sure is nice and convenient it's done that way by default.
It does not bother me at all. Velox even gave a quicker solution. You highlight the image url and [img] tags in the quote, and then click the spoiler button.
Doesn't bother me either, just seems like the logical next step to have it done by default, even when it hardly takes any work.

Top right corner. Profile -> Updated Topics. That'll show you all the updated threads.

But there's no real notifications for people quoting or replying to you. Cheat's thinking of getting a mod that will implement them though, so maybe some time soon.

For gaming, it provides a more fluent and smoother experience that allows for more accurate input and faster responses.

Well shit, I guess I just saved myself some money/effort then <.<

If the multiplayer doesn't work then that's basically the only reason to get it >.>

I'll probably still get XBL for BF3 shenanigans though.
Apparently they do work, just not well at all. Or maybe there's just hardly anyone playing, which would be sort of surprising since the game just went free.

Gaming / Re: Vault of Glass anyone? (360)
« on: October 04, 2014, 04:51:11 AM »
So how is the raid different from the normal game? I've always heard Desticles and Bungie claim that the raids would be game-changing, incredible and tough experiences that would push the players to the limits of their gaming and mental capacity. But from what I've seen, it doesn't look much different from anything else Destiny to offer.

How is the story and endgame in this? I've watched quite a few videos and streams of the game, and I always just see people working on killing (elite) captains and trying to get an infected orc in some warchief position. Is that it? Or is there an actual endgame where there's another board after the warchiefs with familiar characters or more interesting stuff?

Not that I'm aware of. I think I can do pretty much anything I want.

So, Flood, it's my birthday today. At 22 years old, finally a big boy.  And since you were all invited to my birthday party, now would be the time for the unwrapping of the gifts. Post pictures of what you got me!

In the mean time, cake for you all.
