I'm currently doing my PC gaming on a laptop. 8 gigs of RAM, 1920x1080 15.6" screen, i7 4700MQ GPU, Nvidia GT 755M (possibility of SLI).
Nice, what's the clock speed on your CPU?
I think 2.4Ghz but I'm not entirely sure. Any way to find out without looking for my specs online?
CPU-Z and GPU-Z are good for getting detailed information on your graphics card and CPU.
2.40Ghz according to Speccy.
Not bad, my CPU goes around 4.1 GHz when being stressed tested. It's a Haswell series Core i7.

Can you post a screenshot of your GPU specs in GPU-Z or another similar program?

IV's are the big flag, but you can settle for close to perfect instead of perfect to skirt around that. If your stats aren't flagged, and everything else looks legit (ID, trainer, proper ability and moveset) then I'm not sure if they can tell the difference.

How exactly are they preventing hacked pokemon from showing up?
Well I know you can't trade them from Gen 5 to Gen 6, I had a few Action Reply pokemon from Gen 4 (fracking events) but the game cockblocks you at the door when you try to send them forwards, which is fair enough I suppose since apparently hacked pokemon were rife in Gen 5.
What I do know of is this game save editor thing that people were using for Gen 6 and there are plenty of videos of hackers on the online battling so I think it's something of an uphill battle for nintendo.
Any idea on how they stop hacked pokemon? Because as far as I know, they can be made to look pretty damn legit, with a genuine pokemon ID, stats, trainer...

Apologies for the belligerence, just getting frustrated with how hostile people are when it comes to gaming. It's a little sad how often people attack each other over what games or platform they prefer. Live and let live, you know? Maybe you prefer PC gaming for some pretty good reasons, but that doesn't mean that people gaming on console have reasons that are any less valid. I just don't see the point in constantly bringing people down over it by rubbing perceived superiority in their face.

The music It isn't bad, but still very disappointing. It's alright to have playing in the background while playing the game, but that's about it. It's not memorable or special, and nothing I'd download and listen to outside of the game. background lore Eh, can't say I ever looked into it. Bungie made it such a chore, having to go to B.net to actually read it, that I can't be bothered with it.

Do they disappear from the alerts list, or just from the red, new alert box?
Sometimes both, sometimes just the new alert box.
