The saddest thing about Reddit is how obsessed people are with their meaningless internet points. Did you know that they make "throwaway" accounts to protect their karma from going down
Most do it to protect their main account when making a confession or something.

Weird guy / Oldfag probably. Arena FPS is still pretty niche these days.

Didn't they require you to sign up with an official / verifiable email so that you're no longer anonymous to some people there?

Cauterized nosebleed without sedatives. Worst thing I've ever felt.

Thought that was King's College London for a second. And how does this work? You get your own SharePoint account tied to your name through your college that you know use to store a pirated show?

And then, for no reason, it decided to use Hyper Beam.

My previous calculations were off—Prithvi wasn't able to tank the hit at all. Lights out.

Looks like a very expansive game with a great story and a lot of opportunities, but the gameplay is a letdown and the combat clunky and not engaging. Tried it but couldn't get into the game.

the fact that you can't pause when offline is one of the worst things about the game, but i would never install a mod that lets me do that, because i just accept how the game was designed, even if i don't love every aspect of it
Not being able to pause is objectively one of the best parts of the game, but this is about online connectivity. Dark Souls has a multi-player that works with pools of players. It does that so that you're not swarmed with invasions, messages  and hundreds of bloodstains and phantoms everywhere. Instead, it puts you in groups of 20. This was all fine and dandy at the start, but what you see happening now is that there's several different separate groups with only one or two players in them. This mod fixes that by improving connectivity and pooling. You could have two people in the exact same spot trying to summon each other but not being able to because they were assigned different pools and are now only connected with a handful of others that might not even be in their area of the game. This mod makes it so that all people in the same area (to a maximum of 20) are put in the same pool so that they can actually connect to each other. It doesn't change any gameplay mechanic, but just makes the multi-player work better on a 6 year old game with low player count. Nothing as frustrating as knowing there's people online and in your area looking to play together but being unable to because the game pooled you with just 2 other players that aren't even in your part of the game.

Is a mod fixing a mechanic and improving connectivity still bad, in your opinion?

Current vague plan for the build.

Baller swag sword ftw.
You know it, although the swag sword is just one of the weapons I want to use. I could improve the build by picking one weapon only and minmaxing around that, but that's always been boring to me. I like having some variety and being able to switch between a handful of weapons (Scythe, Rapier, Falchion, Estoc, Claymore, Longsword... are just some of the ones I'm thinking of).

Also, stream last night was great. I was up to around 10 viewers and was summoning people from the chat as well as being invaded by them. Fun times, spent around 2 hours just doing that with a number of people. Installed a connectivity mod that fixes the game's multiplayer, so all is good now.

That's dope man, sorry I missed it.
Nah dude, no worries.

I always wanted to get into Mass Effect but couldn't get into the gameplay. Same with Witcher.
including Witcher 3?
i swapped from bloodborne to witcher 3 and i had a hard time with it as well. gotta unlearn stuff.
Including Witcher 3, yeah. I'm going to give it another chance, but still. I got like 2 hours into the game and made it through the first village, killed some people and did a side quest here and there. Retrieve a pan, find an arsonist, learn to play the card game, stuff like that. And then I just kind of lost interest. The combat feels sluggish, I'm really not a fan of the whole being able to pause and use the wheel for spells and stuff during a fight, and the whole thing with weapon potions/alchemy/decoctions/oils and buffs and all that jazz just makes me not even want to get into it. It really is such a shame because I've heard so many good things and want to play it, but this kind of stuff is so off-putting to me and just feels like it hides a subpar core combat system.

Not even two minutes into this video and it's already going to shit.

>bill doesn't make any mention of "rate increasing device" despite his quotation marks and clear implication

>only applies to (weapon) parts specifically designed for and functioning as a way to increase the rate of fire of a semi-auto rifle despite the "omg they're gunna come after your belt loop, finger or stick from the yard and you'll get jailed because of it"

>calling congressmen "traitors" because they supported this

Wew lad. What do I sign to support this? :^)

The Vegas shooter wasn't a criminal until he shot. There was nothing to point us at him. He wasn't insane. He wasn't radicalized. There were no early warning signs. Standing on a purely intellectual platform of "this only restricts law abiders and not criminals" doesn't fit here. This guy was a "law abiding" citizen until he shot. I'm sorry, but you are wrong here.
Wrong about what?
The whole "criminals don't obey the law" argument, I assume.

1404
I'm not immediately seeing the issue here.

1405
It's a good thing criminals follow laws. Finally no more gun crime.
If you're not being ironic and mocking these kinds of people, that is the worst argument in this entire debate.

Slight change of plans: I'm going to leave this playthrough for Youtube. On stream, I'm going to start a new character and play through the game to build the best and most OP PVP build I can think of (save for Obobobo's build because that's just too nasty).

I'm going to stop my Youtube videos of this playthrough and continue with the character on stream. Editing everything for Youtube takes a decent amount of time and effort, and no one other than Dietrich seems interested in watching them anyways. You can follow along on www.twitch.tv/flee4me. Gonna run a test stream now.

What do you stream with man and why cant it output to a lower resolution. I;d love to watch but my shitternet won't let me watch a 720p livestream.
I use OBS to stream on Twitch. I wish I could let you change the quality settings and lower the resolution, but Twitch reserves that as a special feature for some streams only. You either need to be a partner or have a consistent 20+ viewers before quality options unlock for your stream. People who just started streaming can only do so in one resolution. It's why I've picked 720p instead of 1080 so that more people can watch without issues.
