That's a pretty ugly looking console, tbh.

2) ask flee about anything you need to know
Lol. I'm flattered.
I remember you being like the dark souls Guru on bnet when it first was up on games with gold and when DaS2 came out
Were you one of the people I gave some advice to through PM? There were several, so my memory's a blit blurry there.

Always look at your surroundings and think before doing something. Dark Souls has one of the most emerging and brilliantly connected worlds I've ever seen. Absolutely nothing is there by accident, and the tiniest details will have a meaning. Lordran is a treacherous land, so always look for hints revealing traps, hidden areas or secrets.

Keep an eye on your stamina meter. Every action you perform (running, rolling, blocking, attacking...) drains your stamina. When your stamina is low or even empty, you won't be able to block attack or roll out of the way. A common beginner mistake is just going all out at an enemy and then finding yourself without stamina left to dodge or block your enemy's follow-up attack. Don't get greedy, don't spam and keep an eye on your stamina.

Don't aim to become a jack of all trades. Focus your skills in one or two attributes and stick with them. A person with 30 dexterity will be a lot more lethal than someone with 10 dexterity, strength and intelligence. Try to have a general idea of the kind of character you want to make (full dex melee, full strength melee, strength-dex melee, melee with magic, melee with faith...) and don't spend your skill points all over the place.

Learn how weapon scaling, enchantments and poise works as soon as possible.
Don't attack NPC's. You will aggro them and render them useless.
Talk to all NPC's and keep using the talk option until they start repeating themselves.
Don't level up resistance.
Don't go human while online if you're scared of getting invaded.
Two-handing weapons will greatly increase their damage and will lower the strength requirement.

And finally, don't listen to people telling you what class or playstyle to go with. One of the wonderful things about Dark Souls is that almost every class and playstyle is viable. The fun and challenge of the game lies in discovery and improving yourself, not to just have people tell you what class/weapon/build is the easiest way to beat the game.

Have fun!

It can be pretty confusing with members that don't particularly stand out.

I think it's a pretty useful feature, especially when I sign on in the morning and see that people have been replying to me overnight. I almost definitely would've missed those replies if it wasn't for the alerts, as I don't go checking up on each thread I posted in the night before.

hooray I did it thank you all for coming
You'll be here all week?
And all last week too.
Bloody Time Lords.
Petition to ban all time lords? Their heresy and ungodly time zone should not be tolerated on a pious forum like ours.
You can't stop me if I stop you first
THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE TIME TRAVEL THINGS
I'll create another account and send him back in time to stop the mods. I'll call him RC5908
He shall be the chosen one.

I don't think there's anyone on here from NZ, so you're the most futuristic one of us all. Congratulations, time traveler.

WHen did Turkey into EU?
They're not. Turkey is trying to get in, so it's been doing everything it can to meet the requirements. It's going to take years before they actually get to that point though, and then there still needs to be voted on Turkey's accession.

Do they make you not use any technology? Seattle isn't exactly the end of the world.

Either way, sucks to see you go. You were a good member. And a word of advice, try not to be too overly fake enthusiastic/happy. I speak from experience when I say it's more likely to turn people away than get them to follow your cause.

What is this even?

Stealth rocks break marvel scale, outsped by garchomp/greninja and OHKO

OHKO by mega gardevior regardless of rocks
I will not even pretend that I understand that. However, it does not change my disappointment in you for not having Dragonite, objectively the best pokemon, on your team.

The US has some good food, but at the same time it's also so incredibly bad for you. Not only is it extremely fattening, it's also ridden with preservatives and all other kinds of shit. I've had stomach issues pretty much every time I visit the US, and so does my girlfriend when she heads back home after enjoying the food here for a week or two.

Those are chips and fries, you mean.
Thank god. People are sane in Belgium.
The Belgians invented the fries, so of course we know what to call them. Silly bong, being stuck on that rock in the sea isn't doing their sanity much good.
Wait, so what the fuck did the French do?
"French frying" used to be a synonym for "deep frying", for whatever reason.

See for yourself. Country of Origin: Belgium.
