Moderating this place isn't as easy as some might think. Let's cut the trial mods some slack.
I'd be all for cutting slack if they didn't consistently be appearing to jump the gun and make bad calls, nevermind the fact of my post above.
I'm not about to go easy on them when they fuck up, the point of them being "trial mods" is to see how they do.
So far, it's poorly. Of course people aren't going to go easy on them.
You don't have to go easy on them. If you have any genuine complaints, you can either PM cheat or one of the master mods about it, or post it in the thread in News. Naturally, I'm not forgetting that the people here are going to eat them up at every mistake they make, which probably isn't that bad way of putting them through the trial. But it really isn't always that easy making the right calls here. It takes time to get used to the way things work. They'll get it down soon enough.
