Any of you boys want to play sometime soon?
Also, how the fuck do you communicate? The situation has rarely presented itself, but anytime any chatter goes on I can't hear anyone and don't know what the push to talk is.
I'm up for it. Xbox gt is the same as my username. I'll be on this Wednesday (today) and Friday.
Edit: oh wait nevermind you meant PC.
I'll be able to play on Xbox soon as well. One of my gifts, since my girlfriend can't contain herself when it comes to this time of year. GT is the same as my name. And I thought PC users were able to play with those on Xbox.

Currently waiting until the season is over so I can shell out money for a month to watch.
How is it so far?

Is Recon still super active after his demotion? We PMed each other on the regular back in the day, but I haven't talked to him since I left .next, and that was only a couple of months (to my knowledge since time has skewed things) after all that happened.
He unfortunately left the site after it became a requirement to play D2 to post on the forums.
Fucking gay. The D1 requirement is why I left in the first place (even though I owned the game), but I guess I've gotta give them props for their continued genocide of any and all iconic/respected members of the community in hopes of culling anything but the regular autism they have on their forum.

instead of just throwing pills in my direction.
Our circumstances may be different (not entirely sure), but this mentality that doctors have is so fucking infuriating. The very idea that pills might not be a cure-all seems so foreign to them that they brush aside your concerns no matter your reasoning. Can't tell you how many times I've heard, "You just might not have found the right treatment yet," and it pisses me off everytime. If you haven't found THE RIGHT ONE after 15+ times, then I certainly know better than you, doc.

This is all I've played since that video released. It's literally the game I've been wishing for since I was a kid, and I'm rather disappointed I didn't know about it sooner. Hoping for more 4x-like mechanics in future releases (alongside more in-depth colony management and RP features), but I've already got a solid 40 or so hours in it already, so suffice to say I'm not too bothered about it.

Four years for me? Shit, I was thinking two, max. The rage of .next feels like yesterday. How is off-topic?
Time flies when you lurk.

What'd you get? I've got a pair of Alpha Primes, personally. And despite the over-abundance of electric music, I'd say that it's at least one of the best ways of judging fidelity despite not liking it all that much.

I've been playing League of Legends and actually liking it. Sue me.
Community aside, I think it's an alright game. I don't put crazy hours into like some of my friends, but I can really only enjoy it with them. The toxicity levels off a lot when you have people who don't even really need you as anything but commentary.

I wanted to post in that Top 5 games on Steam list, but for some reason all oldish threads on there are locked now.
So my top five are: New Vegas - 343 hours, not even considering all the hours played on Xbox and though mods Warframe - 284 hours, though that's not much compared to those on here Mount and Blade: Warband - 121 hours, plus some with mods War Thunder - 112 hours PUBG - 89 Hours
Most honorable mention goes to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. though, with 39 hours for the base game, with a few additional hours due to the sequels/expansions. I've put hundreds of hours into mods like CoC,Dead Air, LA, etc., and am now giving Anomaly a whirl in preparation for the sequel due to the x64 upgrade.
What are you guys playing?

Not like I was ever particularly known, but I still frequently lurk. My life is pretty stale, self-medication is really the only thing saving me from the deep end. I think I'll manage though, now that I'm on my own (no roomates, no gf). Just a place for me, where I don't have to deal with anyone else or their drama. Best decision of my life so far.

I hear palpatines laugh at the end
Only part I'm really hopeful for, considering Luke's words right before. Here's to hoping Snoke really was just some pretender using dark side artifacts and shit to give him the illusion of power while Palpatine('s spirit?) was just wreaking havok in order to unite the scattered remnants of his Empire whilst eliminating old threats to his order.

It turns out the chipset on this motherboard isn’t compatible with the 8th Gen CPUs, so while I could probably get a deal on a 7700K, I don’t think the slight boost to performance is significant enough to warrant a purchase.
With that in mind, any good low latency 1440p monitors within the limits of 250-300 bucks?

What would you be looking at? 8700k, 9900k or Ryzen?
8700k, if only because I can get it for around $260 due to a friend of mine. I just don’t know if it’d really be necessary. Having a beast GPU (wanted that 2080ti, but that’s out of my price range) is really the most important factor, and that extra cash could go towards a dedicated GPU cooler. I’m just on the fence.

CPU: i7-6700K GPU: Asus Strix 2080 OC MB: MSI Z170A M7 ATX LGA1151 SSD: 2 960 Evo's (512 GB & 1 TB respectively) Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2 x 8GB 2400 MHz PS: EVGA SuperNOVA G2 850 (for SLI later on) Case: Fractal Design R5 Blackout
Had the CPU and Motherboard on hand already due to wanting to upgrade my old PC, but I just decided to say fuck it and start a new one. I don't think the old adage of GPU being more important than CPU is going to fall out of favor anytime soon, but I just thought I'd ask if I should upgrade? This is the same CPU as my last build, which I delided for a decent boost to 4.8GHz and (obviously) cooler temps, but there really is a lot of cool CPU developments coming out nowadays that makes the 6700K seem kind of dated in comparison.

Build a wall around California.
Yeah, let's build a wall around the most important state in the USA
Let the Earthquakes separate LA off from the mainland, and then run it as some sort of Mad Max/Alcatraz prison.
Will we keep the President's Daughter?

Still rocking my Alpha Prime headphones, and by god are they the best purchase I've ever made. Expensive (literally the most money I've spent at once outside of a car), but in its price range not many other cans can compare. Valhalla 2 and Gungnir are the best quality build for someone not wanting to breach the thousands of dollarydoos for practically nonexistent quality improvement. Schiit isn't the best, but if that's your style, that's my 2cents there.

Aside from worst=best LOL! which I assume you're emulating it' for amusement, when you aren't. Interpersonal drama amongst completely and utterly retarded people does not make you stand head and shoulders amongst on another. You literally fight because you can't stand one another, killing the community that matters to you just to die along with them.
Why? Why kill your friends for such a purpose?

The News needs more than occasional holiday inputs, pasted from years gone by with updates of random, haphazard, and genuinely useless "weekends" of what basically just equate to shittalking other users with literally no consequences aside from the rules you've already established in the main forums.
