well, we lost, although it's not official at the time of me typing this
PA going red puts Trump at 267, and AK (worth 3) will be a layup for him, so it's over
we also lost the senate—and will likely lose the house, too
i don't know what to say. i don't have the energy anymore to spit bile at those who allowed this to happen, and i can't think of anything to say to those who did their part to prevent this from happening.
just stay safe, i guess. tough times ahead. there is no silver lining to this outcome—no light at the end of the tunnel.

Cba doing a full graph, but as a fellow limey let me chuck in my two cents:
Unfortunately I think AZ is lost. The data for the last few weeks seems to indicate a flip back to Trump. Nevada could hold blue but I'm about 55/45 on it.
Rust belt states I think she has in the bag. Pennsylvania could also be super tight but I think she'll grab it by a cunt hair.
I think she might also nab Georgia. Exit polls indicating abortion as a major issue for voters.
Ultimately I think there's gonna be a big sleeper Kamala vote on the horizon. I don't think it's as close as the polls are suggesting imo.

First exit polls out, democracy is the biggest issue nationwide, higher even than the economy. Women voters also up like 5 percentage points since 2020.

i can begrudgingly forgive anyone who voted for trump in 2016 on the basis that you probably hadn't the faintest idea just how bad he would end up being. i mean, you're still a fucking idiot, but i voted for jill stein in 2016, so, we all make mistakes.
but if you voted for trump in 2020, i have next to no compassion for you as a human being.
and if you're voting for him now, you are actively taking part in the destruction of my country and i sincerely hope that great harm comes your way as a deserved consequence of your choices.
