Serious / Re: B-but the left loves freedom of speech and expression!!!!« on: June 07, 2015, 12:43:28 PM »I'm not sure what this has to do with the left. It's a government backed proposal.>according to the NRAI'm not even concerned about forum discussions or whatever, schematics, diagrams, and other such information are an essential part of a populace that can defend itself from state and non-state actors. And why the fuck is the Department of State proposing it for that matter? 4541
Serious / Re: How can people reasonably support the legalization of ALL drugs?« on: June 07, 2015, 12:31:10 PM »
Yeah, I'm kind of in begrudging agreement on this one.
I have no problem with the decriminalization of psychoactive drugs. Opiates and amphetamines however, are fiendishly addictive. I'd argue it eliminates any kind of personal choice involved. 4542

I don't recall the outrage when the Dothraki raped the dark skinned sheep farmers in the first season either.I think we do have a rape culture. A rape hysteria culture. It's pretty much overtaken murder in terms of controversy at this point. Perhaps because they were being lead by a woman too? 4546

Serious / Re: Do you consider transgenderism a mental illness?« on: June 04, 2015, 08:07:29 PM »
I really don't know. I think more research is required in the field of transgenderism.
That being said, there's new evidence emerging to suggest that it could indeed, simply be a mental misalignment of sexual identity which requires therapy, not an operating procedure. But as I said, we still don't fully understand what transgenderism is. I think it's fallacious to just arbitrarily declare it either a "mental illness" or something "natural" that people are born with, like homosexuality. 4553

Gaming / Re: Jesus Christ, why is the Witcher's autosave so fucked?« on: June 04, 2015, 08:56:08 AM »I don't need to manually save often because I have hands and don't suck.Yeah I know I suck. We've all established that. Like I said, the difficulty doesn't bother me. What bothers me is the endless backtracking because the game doesn't even have something that should've been implemented since day 1. Literally could find better autosave features on Spyro The Dragon. 4557
Gaming / Re: Jesus Christ, why is the Witcher's autosave so fucked?« on: June 04, 2015, 08:43:48 AM »I don't. The only time I ever actually manually save during an rpg is when I finish playing the game. Genuinely never had a problem with an autosave in any other kind of rpg, or other genre for that matter. But I digress, this wouldn't have been an issue to me if the game was actually competent enough in autosaving me during a quest. Why should I have to do this when it has been a basic feature of contemporary games for the past 10 years now? You guys actually think it's acceptable that gamers should have to manually save every half hour? Do you enjoy shilling broken features or something? 4558
Gaming / Re: Jesus Christ, why is the Witcher's autosave so fucked?« on: June 04, 2015, 08:30:28 AM »Then you should realise the inconsistency in difficulty then.i'm way past you and i've done everything other than winning gwent cardsDid you play the quests I mentioned? If you haven't, come back to me and tell me they aren't ridiculously easy to defeat, then compare it to the Bloody Baron fight.yeah, it is you. literally haven't had a single problem with enemies other than dying twice earlier in the game.As are the supposed combatants that I fought with little to no difficulty, and none of them were overweight or alcoholic.okay lmao, get thisthe bloody baron is a mad war veteran, so... Why would a fat old drunk be harder to defeat than actual fighters, including a commander or whatever in his prime? Doesn't really make sense. But I digress, this wouldn't have been an issue to me if the game was actually competent enough in autosaving me during a quest. 4559
