There's little demons and monsters all over the fucking place. They're all carrying sacks and going door to door while walking in groups. I don't know what to do! Gods, is this the end times? God, I hope they don't come to my house. If they do, I'll be ready.

Edit 1:

GOD DAMMIT, ONE GROUP CAME TO MY DOOR YELLING, "TRICK OR TREAT." I GAVE THEM A TREAT ALL RIGHT, 45-70 TO CENTER MASS. THE REST RAN OFF SCREAMING. I guess even demons fear the Govt.

Edit 2:
Police are on their way. I'll have this settled soon. They'll help me clear this shit out. The demon brood mothers are screaming at my door though. I think another 45-70 should clear that up.

Be back soon guys, I have shit to clear up

How stupid are the people who believe in that SOLAR PANEL ROADS!!!! video?

Very.

PV modules are very fragile. You could thicken the glass, but you decrease the kw generated. Not to mention the logistical nightmare in keeping those cells clean, and repairing them when you have an accident or a fire.

I've become pretty confident in the basic system installation and what they do since I started working in Solar.

So, go ahead and ask about Solar Systems.

Pickup drivers are, objectively, the shittiest drivers.

Even the elderly are not nearly as bad.

You've never driven around minivan driving soccer moms. Literally the shittiest drives on the planet. When you couple that with the douchbag dudebros that drive pavement queens, you get the perfect duality of shit that infests Southern California.

Asians are only a small problem and rarely leave their communities. I have to deal with Dude Bros and Soccer Moms all the fucking time.

Because I wouldn't like having to pay for gas twice a week.

164 miles a week in a 25 year old Diesel truck and I only fuel up once a week.

And my fuel gauge hasn't worked for three weeks now.

And I paying 2.59 a Gallon compared to 2.99 or 3.01 for Regular Unleaded

And My tank isn't anywhere near empty when I fuel up on Monday mornings.

And I like to take impromptu 30 mile trips to the desert on Saturdays and I only ad an extra 15 dollars to my tank to do so.

oh, and it's almost all in-town driving. Very little time on the Freeway.

I get nearly 500 miles out of a tank......

Who said I am anywhere near Empty when I fuel?

Besides, you're not in an awesome truck.

I did. Didn't find much use for it and the 15 mpg was seriously draining my wallet. Now I get 37 mpg and have more money for useful things.

I'm paying on average 30 cents less per gallon of Diesel than you.
Gas right now is $2.02 per gallon and still even then I end up paying less. Also diesel just happened to just now dip below gas in prices but we both know it wasn't that way previously for a long time and won't stay that way for long.

Good luck ever having to move anybody, or your self.

I have a car AND a pickup? Do I win the thread?

No, but you are a sensible person who can see the usefulness of a every day car to drive, and a truck to act as a utility vehicle.

Not even just a Ford, or a Chevy, or a Ram. Any pickup truck. What is your excuse for not having one of the most useful vehicles to ever exist?

Even a shitty Toyota pickup would suffice as long as you have bed space to actually haul shit around with.

Scenario time:

A lady you admire is moving to a new location. She asked for your help for the move. In the end you may profit out of this endeavor if you play your cards right. One of the thing she is planning on moving is her dresser but you only have a Prius or a Smart car or what ever kind of car you faggot metrosexuals drive nowadays. It literally can't fit in your sissy clown car because all you can think about is, "MUH CITY LIVING"

That's when I roll up in my 91 Dodge Ram and offer to help. Mention I haul shit all the time, have tie down straps, and I can carry a lot of material. She thanks me for my help, I load her stuff up in my truck, and proceed to help her move. In the end I get the girl and you get nothing.

So, Why don't you have a least some form of Pickup Truck? Aren't you a real man?

Hot damn that's awesome

You get a chance to shoot that MG42?

Nah, only if he offered. I know 8mm Mauser is expensive, and at the cyclic rate of an MG42, That's a lot of money down range very quickly.

No, I shot a PKM because Slav-shit.

That looks pretty fun. Would shoot some stuff with.

I only got to shoot one thing (At an exuberant price, especially considering the cost of ammo for it,) but just being there was by far the coolest thing I have ever done.

I mean, for fuck's sake. I was in the presence of .50 cal Machine guns, MG42s, Full Auto AR-15s and full blown M16s, AK-47s, PKMs, and god know's what else. Not to mention a variety of canons ranging from 20mm AT rifles to 37mm AT guns, 57mm AT guns, and a 75mm AT gun.

Holy fuck, it was an experience. The start of the afternoon shoot was literally sensory overload. The sound of hundreds of Machine guns, the smell of burnt powder, the taste of burnt powder, seeing explosions all over the range from target as well as tracers and hundreds of bullet impacts per second, and the concussion from the explosives and the over pressure from the guns. It was the most visceral, raw thing I have ever experience and it's truly difficult to describe what it truly felt like.

Deny the Cube before your friends and Stoner shall deny you at the gates.

Well she did admire my slav-shit knowledge. Maybe the cube willed it.

Yelling "Ah my Cheeki Breeki iv Damke!" Before opening up with a pkm would have been pretty legit

I opened my safe thus morning to check things out. I like to do that to check on my investments.

Well, when i opened the door, i noticed that my little .17hmr rifle moved. It moved away from my 45-70 lever gun. I think it was leaning on the 45-70.

Here is the problem, she's a .17 and he's a .45. It's wrong and i don't know what to do. I could talk to them, but what good is that? What's more, the 30-30 is going to get jealous. That have similar actions. Mixing a bolt Acton and lever action is wrong. Not to mention how far apart they are, caliber wise

What should i do?

The Flood / Re: What is keeping you where you are?
« on: October 21, 2015, 10:19:44 PM »
I don't want to go anywhere else. I like my small town. I know my small town. I know my neighbors, even if I don't socialize often. There are opportunities here, though I lack the ambition to peruse... I think the biggest problem is that I'm complacent. I don't think I can blame it on the anxiety any more. That was where it started, but now... I think that it's just me selfishly not wanting anything to change anymore that's keeping my life stagnant and socially depraved.

But on the bright side, I've got me some songwriting that's, on a good day, maybe just barely comparable with Social Distortion.

Gov't Mule is pretty cool, OP.

I don't have that small town feel. My city alone is 80,000 people. There are two more cities bigger than mine right next to us. It's Basically the greater LA area, but brown.

I want that small town feel. I want that rural life, that simpler life. But so much is holding me where I am.

The Flood / What is keeping you where you are?

What ties bind you to your current situation? Do you have family that you can't leave? Commitments? Maybe school? Could you get up and leave it all behind in pursuit of something new? Could you forge your own path to fortune?

There are days that my mind drifts to areas I really don't want to remember. Broken promises and crushed dreams. When I start drifting into that train of though I start looking at the map and throw on some blues to sooth my mind, or does it enhance my melancholy?

Regardless, I start looking at the map and the desire to ramble hits hard. It grips my psyche and damn near demands that I give up and move on down the line. But my commitments bind me where I am for the time being, so my melancholy drifts into even more melancholy. I start listening to more sad blues and southern rock and the dreams of a new place and a different life start to grasp even harder.

Does anyone get this way? It's a bit of a curse of mine, and I guess it would be comforting to know I'm not alone.

Also, here is some medicine, or poison. Depends on how you look at it.

There were dinosaurs causing havoc in my town. People were being attacked and what not. I went full on British safari hunter. Like "Come on Mbelle, let us retire to the lodge and prepare the rifles."

On the way back a transfers Tyranasaur started chasing me. I made it into the house before it got to me. This was excellent because of my new 45-70. I ran excitedly to my safe as the trex ambled around the area. But when I got to my safe I couldn't remember my combination. 4th try and I was locked out. All I felt was immense sadness. I got cock blocked from a trex trophy by my safe.

Just thought I'd let you guys know
