I've become pretty confident in the basic system installation and what they do since I started working in Solar.

Very.

PV modules are very fragile. You could thicken the glass, but you decrease the kw generated. Not to mention the logistical nightmare in keeping those cells clean, and repairing them when you have an accident or a fire.
