For the sanity of all of those involved, let it be understood from henceforth that any referral or use of the word "lore" on Verb's part means the essence of the game in its state as intended and created by the developers. Because I have very rarely seen a discussion get so caught up on a single word.
If this continues to be disagreeable, we shall compromise and instead use "kerfluffberry" instead of "lore". That way there isn't any side tracking over semantics.

Um... What is Wonderful 101? Looks kinda crazy, but intriguing.
It's a puzzle/action game, it's one of the Wii U's must-play titles imo. Gameplay video below, skip to about the 7 minute mark if you want to see the general combat.

Spoiler Persona series is a spin-off of the Shin Megami Tensei series of games. SMT is usually considered to be the 3rd most popular RPG franchise in Nippon. Most SMTfags hate Personages because it's pretty casualized and dating-simmish, but I don't care that much.

Smash isn't a fighting game.
Zelda isn't really an RPG.
Neither is Pokémon.
Why can't genres of video games be as unnecessarily large as fucking music genres?
Smash is an action-adventure game! And Pokemon is turn based strategy. No clue why anyone ever thought otherwise
because turn-based strategy and rpg aren't mutually exclusive. See: 99% of JRPGs And smash is a party game, man. Not really a lot of adventure characteristics in it.
