Because I'm hoping against all hope that they wake up and turn the site around somehow. It's not going to happen, but I've been there for almost seven years and it's hard to let go.
Problem is everyone views this site as stupid, and destined to fail. He just need new members, if we could do that then we'd have the power to recruit from bnet, and ultimately, influence Bungie's community management

I've spent time exploring the issue now:
It would seem that Bungie have idiotically decided to stuff group chat into PMs, so now notifications are impossible to ignore due to the sheer volume of the spam.
Hopefully this will cause an influx of users to us.
