Gaming / Re: Why doesn't master chief collection have 4 player split screen
« on: November 11, 2014, 03:40:42 PM »
Because that's stupid, and split-screen reduces the fos and resolution, 4 players would be too noticeable

You realize online pre-orders never arrive on release day, right? And they never have?
Bitch, they always arrive on time for me, this is a first and hopefully a last

Tbh, it looks great, it still looks exactly like Halo, not CoD. The way it's played is exactly as you'd play Halo 1-3,

It sounds like you are trying to convince yourself.
It sounds like you have no clue what the fuck to say so you came out with a random line to try and get me to doubt my own opinion

Fucking niqqas, I pre-ordered the MCC and the retards haven't managed to deliver it to me, and they have no customer support except via email. So now I have to wait indefinitely for them to get their arses moving and deliver the product that they've already been paid to have in my hands, today.

Looks bretty good.

I always thought H3 was too slow, boring, but H5 looks to be taking that formula and making it a faster game.
Exactly, the H5 gameplay, oddly, had that H3 vibe but seemed to have been able to modernise it

1. No ADS, it's just the new zoom animation

2.Sprint is fine, again, just because it's animation is CoD-like doesn't mean it is

3. Everything else looks pretty amazing, so H5 could be good

Exept all of the OHK Melees. Something tells me that half the time it's going to be like Destishit where people just charge through a hail of fire and just Shoulder Bash you and never fire there gun
Oh, you mean just like in every Halo?

Tbh, it looks great, it still looks exactly like Halo, not CoD. The way it's played is exactly as you'd play Halo 1-3, using jumping (and now side-thrusting) to beat people in 1v1 situations, weapons are still excellent without scoping and every one of the new abilities is something Spartans should really have been capable of this entire time.

Yes, the traversal is slightly akin to Destiny or maybe CoD, but that fixes Halo 4's awfully boring gameplay, it's clear to see the additions will make close-quarters battles very interesting, just as Halo 2 and Halo 3 did.

*slams door*

2. maybe thats just me and being old school, i still don't think it belongs in Halo, but thats just me.
I understand where you are coming from but multiplayer has changed, I must admit, as much as I love Halo 1-3 the inability to sprint is very annoying at times, especially in comparison to the style of modern gaming traversal systems. And logically, what sort of ultimate super-soldier can't run?

Fucking lol
I think this is one of those moments when Phil Spencer's desire to do shit for the hell of it meets with the reality that he has ultimate power now
Well hopefully he makes Rare good again instead of them making shovelware Kinect games.
Yeah, he's already said that he want's Rare working on non-Kinect titles. He hinted at them having more than one in the works too

no one other than the police force have guns.
Please do not tell me you actually believe this to be true
It is, except for a tiny minority of criminals, that are smart enough never to carry a gun unless they set out the house with the intent to use it

After playing the crew beta, I think it's possible. For both these projects I questioned whether what they promised could be met and whether that ambition could be met. In the Crew's case it has and I think The Division will live up to expectations too

This build will max out pretty much any game on max settings at 1080p
>tfw an X1 or PS4 can do the same for $500 less

Lol

TFW The PS4 and Xbone can't play games at 60FPS and High when this can. TFW the Xbone can't be upgraded next year and play games better.
Yfw consoles get better every year because of optimisation, hell Perfect Dark vs Crysis 3 bro, on the same hardware
