Wolfenstein has a great story, and is a great game, there should be more actual games like it out there rather than a load of £20 pseudo-games flooding the market time and time again
>Implying TellTale games aren't actual games

And they don't flood the market.
2 in a month, and both will have multiple episodes and eventually a collection of all the episodes, they clog up the market

It's more supporting TellTale, honestly I don't understand why their "games" are so popular.
They're games. And they're popular because TellTale deliver great stories with their games.

And I refuse to support AC, it's been butchered and their open chance to innovate and dominate in the genre has been squandered
lol

hopefully the sequel to SoM will totally demolish the franchise
Even more lol.
AC is an extremely popular and loved franchise.
SoM2 won't destroy AC at all.

Sep7agon Smash:

Play as different users of The Flood and battle it out.

haha I'm already imagining the abilities each character would have
It would be cool as shit, hell, i'd even drag out my laptop to play it. That's something
I hope someone on this board has decent art abilities because I'd need a team member to pull that kind of game off.
I'm no good, but what if you did something closer to voxel art-style? Typically I find it easier than full-on graphics or anything complex
I'd probably end up doing pixel art.
Nothing at all wrong with pixel art, I think it's rather nice

I just did all my GCSE mocks for this term (-Philosophy), and i've been ill, got an average of 95% across my tests across all my subjects. So surely you can do even better because you are not ill, and you are older

So, because it's players and teams instead of guns and maps it's not worth it?
When you're paying full price for a game that's nothing more than a skin pack every year then it's not worth it. You're paying full price for something that would either be free or coast around 1 for a DLC in some game.
Quote
And like I said, you go play the Fifa games from the early 2000s to now, there is far more evolution than there has been in the FPS genre for one.
So besides the engine being updated which every game does and there being goalkeeping that's more like goal keeping. What evolution is there that would have more changes to it than what the FPS genre had?
Quote
You are judging yearly instalments vs tri-yearly instalments. So how about thinking Fifa 12-Fifa 15, or 07 to 10-because to say they are reskins is just ignorance
So then what have these games done to prevent them from being reskins? Does one game have spin off game modes like a Tron styled thing? Does one game have cars being used to move the bar around? What changes are there that prevents these games from being simple reskins besides engine updates? Unless you make up gamemodes or a spin off version there's only so much you can do.
It's very clear that this is your summary of views on the industry as a whole with sport games being your scapegoat, what you have said could easily be said about ANY genre, plenty of them more so than sports games. Like, for example, racing games, fps games, strategy games, etc...

Perhaps, MS is also publishing the game, unsure on how that will work with Sony

Nobody is forcing you to buy fifa, if you don't think £50 is worth it then don't buy fifa, simple. Meanwhile I think it is worth it
Aaaannnnd that's why the industry is like it is.
People like you lap up the newest reskin of a franchise every year.

If people were clever enough to stop buying copy/paste rehashes every year, then we'd get something new and different enough to warrant a £50 price tag.
Just because I buy Fifa doesn't mean I don't buy the games you would never, like Wolfenstein, Shadow of Mordor, Sunset Overdrive, fantastic games that are driving the industry
That doesn't cancel out buying Fifa every year.
EA don't give a fuck if you buy other games. They only care that you line their pockets with cash. You buying Fifa every year just tells EA that they can continue to sell the same game every year.
Quote

What?
So tell me, which games have you bought recently?
CoD?
Mario?

Or nothing at all, better to support the industry then to not at all
This year?
The Witcher 2
Telltale's TWD
The Wolf Among Us
Black Flag
TLoU
Unity
Shadow of Mordor
TellTale's Game of Thrones

Supporting shitty business practices doesn't benefit anyone but those pulling the shitty business practices.
And before you go "hurr AC", I've already made a big list of how AC is anything but a rehash each year.
It's more supporting TellTale, honestly I don't understand why their "games" are so popular.

No, only if Bungie stopped being corporate pricks
Yeah, how they're basically having Activision control them.
I just hope they don't get infinity ward'd
What happened to infinity ward?
Infinity Ward now has no-one left of the original studio, it's made entirely of Activision hires-hence the total lack of creativity and willingness to make games purely for money
Shit really? Well, I guess that was the death of infinity ward.
Respawn and all these new FPS studios are the spawn of the old Infinity Ward, so it's not all bad, it's just old IWx10+new recruits

True fact:

Schools that don't wear uniform are laughed at by uniform-wearing schools, I don't think i've ever seen a school here not have mandatory uniform below College. Even us state school poor kids

Yeah. Generally because the kids who go there are the ones who walk round in full tracksuits. Full on chavs. Though it is nice walking down the corridor in my comfortable clothes while the younger kids are walking round in the fucking awful uniforms.
Go where?

Non uniform schools.

To anyone that says Fifas are just reskins, you know nothing. Go play the last 10 and fucking tell me they are the same, the difference from 10 onwards is especially large as that was when the player impact engine came into play, and 12 completely demolished the old movement system, 13 expanded on everything, 14 finally made everything far more fluid and natural, adding an unpredictability and greater freedom to improvise, and 15 has introduced emotion, made goalkeeping actually like goalkeeping and improved ball movement and physics no end.
Translation:
"Slight engine updates and a new graphics paint job is totally worth £50 each year".
You just described most major franchises
That's not my point.
Fifa is the same shit year in year out, but with slight engine changes and a shiny lick of paint every year.
All of which can be done through patches instead of charging £50 a year in typical EA fashion.
Nobody is forcing you to buy fifa, if you don't think £50 is worth it then don't buy fifa, simple. Meanwhile I think it is worth it
