I really wanna know what's gonna be in the gen 7 pokemon games
Sometimes I wish that Nintendo would go 3rd party so I can play pokemon again. But that would be sad

The lack of aim assist is great. Sprinting is useless to escape with by the way, a little spacial awareness and use of the thruster pack can ensure victory in combat  no matter what if you are skilled

What things do you think will go big and grab the headlines and hearts in 2015 in gaming?

I'm certainly looking to Xbox One VR, which is not a terrible surprise and of course is very important, i'd like to see it enter the market after the PS VR-so that MS doesn't royally fuck it up.

In terms of games we have Rare, whatever they are doing it's massive and hopefully will change things. Just imagine if Rare produced amazing games at such a rate as they did pre-MS? Just think of how that could push Nintendo and Sony to start and compete in new areas, maybe Rare will headline Xbox's assault on VR, it would be a stroke of genius sure to work, it's not as if Rare are inexperienced with Xbox peripherals is it?

Around 8 KDA
2 K/D
Onyx 1
50% Accuracy
SR7
The KDA confuses me, how is it calculated? Because my first half dozen games were bad I ended up at -4.7, which after dominating in about 20 matches i've finally worked back up

Bronze 2, not sure why though. I've been getting 4.0 K/Ds all the time, accounting for over half my team's kills and usually getting 7-14 assists with 2-7 deaths. I guess it's just the first five shitty games I had huh?

They base it off of wins not preformance because all of all the Halo  fanboys who dont actualy know what they want
Aah, i've only won about half my games, it usually ends up that I account for either over half the kills+assists (wins) or nearly all the kills+assists when we lose.

I suppose I just need luck or a team then

Man, just shut the fuck up. You're talking out of your ass now.
He reminds me of Logfish from Bnet. Both people are Xbox fanboys and they both post retarded things supporting Xbox. The difference though is that Logfish may be simply baiting, but this kid seems serous.
Whose thread are we in?
Think, do I have a history of baiting like this?
Yes, I may have started serious, but hell, it's Lemon for god's sake-how can I resist? Especially with you tending to just make everything I say sound genuine so well

Gaming / Re: Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta - My thoughts
« on: December 29, 2014, 08:06:40 PM »

After playing the beta for 8 consecutive hours, I think I've done enough time in to evaluate it for myself. Here we go.

Weapons:

The weapons available so far in the beta seem to be relatively balanced. My only complaint would be about the AR and SMG.

The SMG is overpowering at close range, as it should. However,  it feels like it still is a bit too powerful when your reaching that close/mid range area. I'd turn down the range a bit on the SMG.

The AR as well has a range issue. With the new zoom ability, the AR now seems to have an ability to extend it accuracy well into the mid range territory. Turn it down a bit too.

Abilities

Like the weapons, most abilities seem to be fairly balanced. They do have a small learning curve to them, and can be very useful in battle. I never find my self using them to escape battle however. More on the side of evading to the left instead of strafing to throw my enemy off so I can get in that extra bullet.

Ground pound removes the ability to crouch jump unfortunately, but I never feel the need like I need to crouch jump in the game anyways. Clamber usually takes care of that.

The only ability I seem to have an issue with so far is the shoulder charge. It full shields, this thing is nothing more than a melee. However, if you have lower amount, yet not low enmough to die through a bleed through melee, the shoulder charge will still kill you. My past few games have had a few players who do nothing but shoulder charge. I'd say either nerf it, which kinda defeats the purpose of the attack, or remove it.

The Armor:

343i and Certain Affinity proved that they could design good looking armor in Halo 2 Anniversary? Why are we backtracking back to Halo 4's style? Hopefully it's just a beta design.

The Players:

Due to it being the first day of the beta, the ranking system doesn't really work, since everyone is the same rank mostly. By god, these players are the largest bunch of noobscrubs I have ever played with.

My last 5 games has had either a teammate quit, be afk, or both. Halo is Halo I guess.

Overall, pretty good. The new gametypes look like they will play well.

9/11. Recommend to friends.

EDIT: WHY CAN 3 PROPHET BANE SWORDS BE ON THE MAP AT THE SAME TIME. FIX IT 343.

I disagree on a few things

1. The SMG is a potent beast but can be very easily tamed by constant horizontal moment and suppressive fire, and against the AR and pistol it's useless at anymore than maybe 10m

2. I think the AR range is just right, finally I can use an AR like an AR, with short controlled bursts it means I can lay down suppression to support my teammates

3. Shoulder Charge is stupid, it means I can't do my usual movement->jump->melee assassination/assault thing and is virtually useless unless your target has your back to you, is slightly beyond melee range, is back against the wall or is far of a group. I only use it to stun

4. Dude, FULL BLACK ARMOUR. Not complaining

5. I don't know, i've never been able to play so well, my K/D in the last 20 games (/25) has been something close to 4,  i'm getting over 25 kills and over 10 assists, with below 10 deaths every single time, it's skrubs vs skrubs and it's meaning any decent players carry the team and make themselves look like gods

I give it a 9.5/10. It's just so FUN, it really get's the pulse racing and I can see a superb competitive and of course custom games future for this game.

IMAGINE THE NEW FORGE POSSIBILITIES WITH THESE NEW ABILITIES

They managed to somehow remove options from customization for no reason. GG
It is a beta, I wasn't expecting amy customisation
Reach beta had more than this. As did Halo 3
Hmm, by less customisation do you mean the fact that it's the armour set+helmet system now or the distinct lack of an emblem?
Both.
The first is the same as the Halo 3 and one up from the MCC, CE and 2.

The lack or emblems is most likely down to the fact it's only a beta, remember that this is only the first beta. 343 have said that they want to release other aspects in beta form too, and that this is purely the Arena MP beta.
Just because the MCC has terrible options doesn't make it any better.

Bah. Still dumb if you ask me. They should try to do more than just that, adding in customization options to help find glitches now is a good idea.
You mean like every time you go into customisation your spartan is still coloured a team colour, and that it's resolution is potato divided by 343?

I think they have enough stuff to fix, although I am grateful that all the issues are unrelated to gameplay

Jump
Hold RS and aim
When the crosshairs appear release RS
Hey presto

Oh, and the crosshairs must be white, red means there isn't enough height

Am I the only one pissed off that I can no longer crouch jump? And I like it so far, but it isn't Halo.
It's very Halo, reminds me strongly of Halo 2 and Halo Reach. The best Halo games. But maybe that's because i'm actually good at H5, for once

"Boo-hoo I don't like Xbox so i'll repeat a silly complaint of PS fanboys over and over"
How does find the UI to be bad make the person a "PS3 fanboy"? If anybody is a fanyboy it's the person with that retarded logic.
Quote
The UI is very functional and easy to navigate
How is something with this many steps easy to navigate?
Quote
1.Start from Home (press the Xbox button on your controller to go Home).
2.Go to My games and apps.
3.Highlight the content that you want to uninstall.
4.Press the Menu button on your controller.
5.Select Manage Game or Manage App.
6.Press the Menu button on your controller again.
7.Select Uninstall.
With the 360 all you had to do was go to the storage area, choose the section for memory, select the game and delete it. It is straight forward as hell. With the Xbone it's just a confusing mess. It's sad that I had to go onto YouTube just to find out how to do that. With the 360 I didn't because the UI for that was smartly planned out. Also with the 360 checking your messages or friends list is a hell of a lot easier and faster.
1. There is a memory section in settings on the X1
2. Not my fault you are incapable of exploring a very, very simple OS
3. I agree with you on messages, there should be a proper inbox easily available, although you can find all your messages in friends
4. The friends list has a whole section, which is updated and can be clicked to immediately access the app, easy as fuck. Or using Kinect...
5. The faster element is null for me, I just use Kinect, so the new OS is very fast for me

"Boo-hoo I don't like Xbox so i'll repeat a silly complaint of PS fanboys over and over"

The UI is very functional and easy to navigate, except the games and apps section being an app there are very little issues
I know right? I hate Xbox so much that I own a 360 and my Xbone arrived today.
Not liking a terrible UI doesn't mean I hate Xbox you moron.

It's a cluttered mess, and they made everything an app for God knows what reason.

Win8 is a tablet OS and it should have stayed like that.
Win8 is close to what the 360 had been using for a while, and the X1 OS is very similar other than the silly Games and Apps app.

Go back and use a 360 with the launch OS, and tell me that the X1's OS isn't an improvement
Even the blades dashboard wasn't as bad as the Xbone's OS.
And the 360's current dashboard isn't an overly cluttered pile of shit. The Xbox Guide is much better than what the Xbone has.

MS have gotten pretty bad at designing UIs. Let's just hope they stop being retarded for Win10.
The guy that designed the UI just left MS by the way

It plays like Halo 2 on steroids, the abilities can't be used willy-nilly and don't help at all in classic 1v1 situations. Most importantly it feels FUN, the addition of music in the MP mode is actually very nice, it helps create a superb atmosphere. It gets the pulse racing but is also immensely reliant on good tactics and strategy, much like a chess match.

10/10 so far
