And the concept of equality is pretty simple, as in every single person being seen as if they were no different to one another

If all people are equal, should all people be treated the same?

Firstly you have to define by what you mean by treating everyone equal. Equal under the law or equal in some other fashion? Secondly, questions about what we should do are fundamentally different from questions about what there is. Questions about what we should do are answered by ethics, but to know whether or not treating people equally (in whatever fashion that is) creates the largest amount of human happiness is necessarily empirical. You can not just guess, deduce, or whatever method it is to figure out whether or treating people equally is the right path to take.

Creating the largest amount of human happiness has two solutions to it too. Do we lower the standards of one's happiness (say with drugs of some sort) or do conform the world around us to better suit our current standard of happiness?
Okay. I'll rephrase and expand for you.

If all people are equal in the eyes of a society (eg. The christian belief that all are equal-"for you are all one in Jesus Christ"), should all people be treated the same in that society?

Is it fair to say everyone is in fact equal?

If the concept of equality was replaced primarily by the concept of justice when it comes to human rights (as in treating people by their actions and value individually, instead of applying the same base value to everyone), would the world be a better place?

You are overthinking it a tad btw, I just need a short answer I can give my opinion on. I have to write this shit and print it before the morning, and it's 11 now

1084
Yes, if it's an opinion that makes sense. Like how I don't share (believe in) Christian beliefs, yet I do not believe in Christian beliefs being false just because I do not share them.

The former is almost an admittance that X may be false or true, depending on belief. Whereas the latter is a definitive statement about X being totally false, in your opinion. It's down to the placement of 'belief', as in one case it is referring to X, and in the other it is referring to you.

Oh, and if you replace X with 'it' you end up with two totally different statements, so there's that too.

I exercise plenty, as I do GCSE PE, football and have friends. 1 hour on Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri and Sunday. 2 and a half on Tuesday, 3 and a half on Saturday and 1-2 hours of running whenever in the week. In fact, today I spent 4 hours playing football with mates

Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 169 of 200

I'm genuinely surprised

The best designed maps do that purely from player nature. Lockout is not an outstanding map, but the way it has that middle section, the epic assaults and required moments of tactical brilliance to turn the tide it causes-it's a small masterpiece in creating those unbalanced situations by relying on player skill variation and style.

Serious / Re: This is what you do if you shoot somebody in self defence.
« on: February 06, 2015, 02:27:15 PM »

Fuck that! If I shoot an armed robber at my house, I am 100% justified. First of all, the robber was not welcomed, he came to break into my house, steal shit and use lethal force to obtain it if necessary.

True fact:
You never truly need a gun as a civilian

I have a clear stance on firearms, and that is that they are totally unneeded outside of a warzone. If you are stupid enough to get into a situation you think you need one then that's on you, no-one deserves a round for your mistake.

Don't let the general Public know that. It only puts a big, "Hey! I can do whatever I want to this man and he can't fight back" mentality.
No, there's this thing called the law, and people that enforce it called the police. It's their job to keep people safe and in line, not some dickwad vigilante with a gun.

The fact you value personal possessions over human life is also silly, last time I checked you can't replace dead people. Not sure your insurance would cover that, but do you know what it does cover? Stolen items.

Plus the fact your scenario is deeply flawed, I presume you are a supporter of Oscar Pistorius and believe he should be allowed to walk free? After all, poor guy thought he was defending himself against a robber.

Guns don't solve anything, you have most nations as evidence of that-and before you mention the Swiss, the attitude they have is totally different to yours. They respect human life and they respect the law, they use their guns for hunting and as a shadowy deterrent. Not a fucking parade piece

We have a similar concept here in the UK, it's called EU immigration. Poles and Romanians come in, we pay them pennies to do our shitty jobs and then they go home with money for their families. Works for us, despite what UKIP would have you think.

How are sports games and how much I weigh related?
Last I checked, sports games don't involve physical activity that affect how fit you are.

You bellend.
If you enjoy sports, you enjoy sports games-at least in some capacity. I'm guessing you have two left feet, no athletic ability or natural talent when it comes to sports-else you'd be able to talk about it and play sports games.

I'd like to see you try and have a conversation in depth about anything sports-related
You do understand the difference between a lack of interest and an incapability, right?

Whatever you're trying to do here, it really isn't working.
You are just lazy, and incapable therefore uninterested
