i collect trophies

the closest game i've ever come to completing in terms of trophies is ratchet & clank 1 from the r&c collection, and all i have to do is collect a million bolts, which is super tedious in that game
Why haven't you at least completed 1 game?
it's just not a priority i guess, i'm usually more concerned with beating the game once, and whether i decide to get all the trophies later is another matter

i've only ever gone out of my way to complete two games (r&c 2002 and r&cf:acit), and i came extremely close both times, but the last couple of trophies are always some ridiculously tedious or difficult shit that i just get bored and consider it "complete" anyway on principle

dark souls is the third game that i have an interest in platinum-ing
Ah, I totally get that. I have a similar problem with Online achievements, the games have no playerbase, so extremely difficult to get.

How is it achievement boosting? So the Deja Vu achievements that require online Co-Op is boosting? Playing firefight/campaign on Co-Op is boosting?

Cool, I need that halo 3 as well, but we may need more people for that, so I think we should try and go for the Firefight ones first, since we'd only need 2 more people. And I think I could get them.

36
Destiny Ghost Edition, Assassin's Creed 3 Collector's Edition, Halo 3 Spartan Controller, Halo ODST Controller, 2 Halo 4 Controllers, Halo 3 Poster from launch. Bungie Foundation collectable pin.
I do have Halo 4 Limited Edition, tho it's meh.

What ones do ya need on Halo 3?
In general I'm aiming to get the eaiser ones done first, like Campaign Score, Firefight and Library in 30mins/Without any deaths. Then Online Multiplayer stuff. What ones do you need done?

Old RS really is fun, admittedly I am only getting back into it after a few months. My mates stopped playing it, so had no one to talk with. Though the only bad thing about it, is thinking about how many hours we lost on our real Runescape account, having to restart on Old RS. I barely played past 2010, so it's fucked up I had to start anew.

19 so far, nothing on this scale.

If NASA gets more funding because of this I will consider this an upside to Trump being president.

More likely the money from environmental science stuff will just be put into the space program instead.
Fucking fuck

the planet's already fucked beyond saving

space exploration is literally our only hope to survive

I can't think of a situation in the near future where sending people into space would be anywhere near as efficient as toughing it out on Earth.

Overpopulation? You'd have to transport hundreds of thousands offworld every day just to keep even with population growth.

Global Warming? Flooding and the like would be disastrous, sure, but I don't see how going into space would be any easier.

Nukes/ Asteroids/ Supervolcano/ whatever? Living in a bunker would still ultimately be easier. No disaster event would be threatening enough to make living on Mars or something more profitable than living in a similar bunker on Earth, with the added bonus of being able to scavenge and recover existing infrastructure. Even if it came to the worst, Earth still has an atmosphere, radiation shielding, liquid water and livable temperatures which aren't present anywhere else in the solar system.

Going into space is cool and I'm a big advocate for extraterrestrial resource extraction and whatnot, but until we have the technology it's a meme that isn't viable nor practical.
But...

Red Faction needs to happen.

Diplomatic Immunity doesn't work like that, If you went about killing people/Breaking the law in (Not your country) then you are exempt, however the Gov't there might not be pleased with you, thus deporting your ass, or actually trying you for those murders. If you went about breaking the law/Murdering people in your home country, = Diplomatic Immunity, what? what immunity.....

It's rather clear...
you're trying to make some fucked-ass analogy, but it's so fucking stupid and incoherent i can't even tell what the fuck it is you're getting at

"i think this game is kinda sexist, maybe we should discuss that"

apparently that's the same thing as "i hurt my foot please cater to me"

are you fucking braindead
Wayy to miss the point. Which is... in my former comments.

I really don't buy that this is a meaningful fallacy.

Like, you may indeed be suffering due to one thing or another, but that doesn't necessary make your suffering legitimate, or as important as somebody else's plight. Some people really do suffer because they're too dim-witted to realise how good they have it.
this is literally the fallacy, right here

no one is saying it's as important as whatever--the point is it's irrelevant

never complain about any of your life's problems, EVER, because there is ALWAYS someone worse off in the world

is that fair or rational
Damn, I hurt my foot earlier, whereas my United Nation funds that all those starving children get?
what the FUCK are you talking about
