b.old is blocked at work but my first account has been deleted. I mainly browsed fileshares at first and commented on them before actually going on the forums.

My first post is most likely on some Halo 3 clip somewhere.

Is this a rank gamenight or just for fun? I suck at MM but I do have fun in custom games.

343i has been doing fine so far, they shouldn't have hired those shitty companies that released MCC but hopefully they will never hire them again.

I don't like Bungie anymore due to the Expansion Pack BS.

I can do everything except for electrical and bodywork.

« on: November 17, 2014, 11:21:12 AM »
I used to ride in a 1950 GMC pickup when I was a kid, great grandfather owned the truck. Boyfriend has an old 1950s pickup that's been rotting in the woods with dozens of other cars and I figured I could try and restore it to be like the GMC truck my great granddad had.

Any tips or warnings? If the whole thing cost $250,000 I wouldn't be surprised.

Gaming / Well looks like the Xbox 360 helped made up my mind....
« on: October 17, 2014, 09:56:25 PM »
I was undecided on whether to buy an X1 or PS4 becuase both have the same spec. If I had the money if just go ahead and buy both but since I don't a choice needed to be made.

I been playing on the Xbox 360 since my PS3 disk reader doesn't work which is kinda my fault. Sadly, within two days the Xbox was dying as it played 4-5 hours of Bad Company 2. The only other game I played on it was Grand Theft Auto V a long time ago. Over the course of two days the Xbox had more issues than any electronic stuff I've had to work with. Shit like:

Xbox randomly freezes

Suddenly exited to dashboard

Video and Audio output stops working, makes really annoying flickering sounds.

Destiny doesn't work on 360, or I just got a bad disc. Either way it really pissed me off and somehow this happens a lot so local store offered full refund for everyone. Fail.

I'd rather not pay $400 for broken consoles, so PS4 it is.

I have a very short temper so people usually don't mess with me after seeing me in action. Stuff like:

-Headbutting people at Wal-Mart for cutting in line
-When I was in middle school, I wouldn't necessarily twist the arm of bullies. I'd just throw their stuff on top of the gymn roof. There are still 5 booksacks on top of the roof that were never taken down.
-Had an abusive ex, left him on the side of the highway.

Yes I had confrontation with police from those

So there's only 1 big map for BTB ? Kinda disappointing, I feel like 343i just gave everyone besides small team players the finger.

Atleast they made sure the Remastered maps look good.

In singleplayer my player just freaked out and its running around randomly randomly as the camera flies through the map, not even sure what is going on.

Like I said, its still in Beta.

Figured I'd give it another chance but its saying I need to download compatibility packs even though I have all of them. Some DLC I can't get because I just get an Xbox Service error.

Anyone else with this problem? And I wouldn't recommend buying GTA V on new consoles for $60, its still a Beta.

So another bash republicans thread? LOL
I'd support any party that isn't full on retarded, Republic or Democrat. Right now they both seem the same to me except the Democrats in my area don't do anything. At all. The only decent group are the ones that don't affiliate themselves with a party.

>we need to teach history like the did in the fifties
Yeah, let's totally regress our education system to suit some blind patriots who probably think that losing the War of Northern Aggression was the single worst travesty of the past 300 years.

I feel for ya, OP, though It's not like I'm overly fond of my own senators. One wants to jail doctors who perform abortions and the other has a hard-on for PIPA.
Its actually called the North-South War here. And its taught that the South rebelled over taxes and the North refused to talk to us so we decided to fight.

The senators are Bill Cassidy (R), Rob Maness (R), and Mary Landrue (D). Sadly upon looking at what they had to say I'm alittle depressed that people will actually vote for these three.

Rob Maness?
[QOUTE]
•America is the greatest nation on the face of the earth, but many in today's generation have not been taught about the sacrifices prior generations made to keep us free.
•As the federal government rapidly unwinds its involvement in children's education by the dismantling of the Department of Education and by empowering states through block grants, let's set one - and only one - requirement on the recipients: that children learn civics and American history the way we did.
[/QUOTE] I understand patriotism but this is retarded. People don't get far knowing only history.

Bill Cassidy?

Literally none of those points takes away Second Admendment, and the UN ban is miisleading. Really its just to rile uninformed people up. Its called the UN Arms Trade Treaty and deals only with preventing international arm trades from being smuggled or used for malicious intent. Nothing will change for people inside US.

There is alot of gun violence in my area, someone opposing any form of gun regulations will just make it worse.

Mary Landrieu?

I'm sure everyone knows the trouble surrounding her. http://www.westernjournalism.com/breaking-big-new-problem-sen-mary-landrieu-cause-nightmares-harry-reids-dems/

I've seen what happens when Republicans in my area start electing people. An entire town ran by republicans have no local government because the first one resigned entirely and when the second gov't started enforcing rules, they were thrown out by the people. I can't wait until they join with other towns, they only thing they could agree on was a city and once that happens there's nothing that they will agree with.

Battlefield

I have to agree with this one.

Battlelog is one of the most toxic forums I have been to, not because of psychotic flamewars or X is OP but because of the ridiculous faction warring ._.

You have the Flyboyphaggots (I'm not a fan of hardcore pilots in the game but the ones on the forums turn my stomach.) Then the endless lynch mobs for snipers (Which I always have to avoid <.<) the Tankers (My mechanical brothers, loathed by most infantry) and the Infantry only plebs who generally use the same three guns as every bugger else on Domination and preach about how they are all you need and the game should be centred around them .____.

o.e

There is a reason that I haven't been on the forums there for a good few months now.

What makes it all worse is that DICE sometimes listens to the retards on their forums and promptly nerf something into uselessness whilst leaving the actual problem untouched ._.

Case in point: Stingers, Jets, Helicopters and the endless imbalance it causes.
You forgot ___ Eyed Recon

Serious / Russia concerned about rights of Russians in Baltic States.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation has called for the protection of the rights of the Russian-speaking population in the Baltic States.

The Russian Ministry Commissioner for Human Rights, Democracy and the Rule of Law, Konstantin Dolgov, has appealed to the international community to protect the rights of Russian speakers in Latvia and Estonia. He made his announcement at the regional conference of Russian compatriots of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia on September 13, reports Ukrainska Pravda, September 15.

“We will not tolerate the creeping attack on the Russian language that we observe in the Baltic States. We consider the well-known steps by the governments of Latvia and Estonia aimed at the infringement of the status and position of the Russian language a gross violation of human rights,” Dolgov declared.

Dolgov added that he considers unacceptable the fact that representatives of national minorities in the Baltic States are not able to use their own language in topographical names.

“More than 50% of the population residing in the largest Latvian cities are Russian in their ethnic composition. This is a glaring example of the flagrant trampling of human rights in the heart of civilized Europe,” Dolgov said.

Dolgov also expressed concern about the growth of neo-Nazi and xenophobic sentiments in Europe, citing the example of events in Ukraine after the “anti-constitutional coup” and the “armed seizure of power.”

“The position taken by Ukrainian ultra-radicals and neo-Nazis on building an ‘ethnically pure’ Ukrainian state has always been clear. This is confirmed by many concrete facts and evidence, (as outlined) in two editions of the “White Book” that we have prepared on Ukraine,” he said. (Russia’s Foreign Ministry has published two editions of its “White Book” on “the most heinous human rights violations perpetrated by Kyiv in Ukraine’s east” — Ed.
