If they do this, then how will the cops make money? But really, that's pretty neat.
But what would happen if someone were to, say, spray paint 88MPH over a 50MPH sign using stencils or something so it looked correct? Would the car know the difference? I think it'd be easier and safer to bind the changes in speed to GPS or something. 2583

The Flood / Re: Did you like the Twilight movies?« on: March 29, 2015, 02:08:06 AM »
They were bad. The first one set the style for the rest of them, which was extremely awkward (in both acting and pacing; at times it seemed forced). The second one was a bit better than the first because of the bigger budget and the "stunningly cardboard" emotionless Bella that Stewart got to play, which meshed well with her limited range of facial expressions.
The third was okay, but it would have been nice to show more of the "bad" vampires' storyline, since those were the only interesting parts. The last one, which was split, somehow still seemed like it was moving too fast, sprinting toward the finale, which was also very lackluster, since none of the actors put enough life into the characters for the viewer to form any sort of attachments to (which is odd and sad with a huge saga). But then again the source material, the last book, read like a 14-year-old's fantasy fan fiction, so... 2585

The Flood / Re: why did challywally get banned?« on: March 28, 2015, 05:58:53 PM »That's what PMs are for, mate. Mods have no control over those and so long as they're not harassing in nature, Admins stay away as well (until they're reported). It's always easy to decide on what should've been done in retrospect. When things start turning sour, our first reaction rarely is to reach for the banhammer right away. We try to talk to people and defuse the situation with a verbal or formal warning. When I did so yesterday night before signing off, I thought the situation was difused. The split thread had been locked and both parties received a warning not to continue the fight in public. This works the vast majority of times. 2589

Gaming / Re: How Would You Lable Your Playstyle?« on: March 26, 2015, 07:57:42 PM »
I bait people a lot. Thinking back (Halo games and even TF2 as Spy and Engineer) most of my strategy involves playing around corners and misdirecting them with a well-placed hologram or a mini-turret. Basically: act weak to get one enemy player to chase me, then beat up on them.

If you're below that I know it should work for you.So what is this fast and easy way to gen these Pokemon? You know, for people who might want to do it themselves instead of waiting on someone else to do it for them.I use an app called PKHeX to make the Pokemon, and I use a 3DS exploit that allows me to import the Pokemon file into my game by making the file into a QR code and scanning it with the 3DS camera. Unfortunately, recent 3DS system updates have patched this exploit, so this won't work for you if you've recently updated your 3DS. I haven't downloaded this update yet, which is why I can gen in this way. 2601

The Flood / Re: You know, I just realized something.« on: March 26, 2015, 02:55:57 AM »Not anymore, mate.It really has gotten old. Banning people was novel for a month or two, but now it's just like janitor duty: something that has to be done for the site to function.I don't like banning people tbh. Before, I really didn't want to be banning folks for small misconduct; we're a tight-knit community and we all know each other. But those small things add up, and before you know it, you have people getting away with stuff they ought not be. So yeah, I don't know if you've noticed, but people with long warning histories have been getting immediate 4-7 day bans, and if they kept it up it would go to a month, followed by a perma. So I'd have to disagree with you; we're being more critical of people who just don't get it. 2603

This is something new we're trying out, so be sure to read before you go crazy!
Yes, we're starting up a bi-daily chat thread rotation to see how it works out and if it will stay around. That means that this is basically an experiment, so don't consider this a definite staple of Sep7agon just yet. The standard welcome/rules message will follow: Welcome to the Sep7agon Chat thread! There are a few rules and guidelines for the chat thread that you should be aware of:
