Chat Thread (Monday & Tuesday)

This is something new we're trying out, so be sure to read before you go crazy!

Yes, we're starting up a bi-daily chat thread rotation to see how it works out and if it will stay around. That means that this is basically an experiment, so don't consider this a definite staple of Sep7agon just yet. The standard welcome/rules message will follow:


Welcome to the Sep7agon Chat thread! There are a few rules and guidelines for the chat thread that you should be aware of:

• This chat thread will be locked as soon as the time limit has expired and another will be created in its place.
• 2 days after a chat thread is locked, it will be deleted to prevent post counts from becoming inflated. Use this schedule to screencap/archive any posts or conversations you don't want deleted.
• Spam is still not allowed (all the rules are still in place here, except, of course, for the derailment rule). Use the edit button to edit your message and don't stack 3 or more posts in a row.
• Report posts that break the rules. With the size that this thread will likely grow to, it will become difficult for Ninjas to patrol the thread on their own. They need your help, so report bad behavior.

This user has been blacklisted from posting on the forums. Until the blacklist is lifted, all posts made by this user have been hidden and require a Sep7agon^® SecondClass Premium Membership to view.

Um, this is quite silly. Why not just get a chat itself implemented to the site instead of just a thread?

Back in the good old days of RA, way had the RA Spam (general discussion) thread which was a chat thread like this. While we were far more well mannered than any of you, we kept it because we wanted it to grow. We wanted to have the largest chat thread.

This is going to fail because members of this community have the manners of a goat.

Only if I call dibs on moderating that one. Because there is no way in hell I'm getting banned from the chat over something stupid like I did on Newgrounds, which of course someone hacked their chat and it got erased.

RA was the private group were Flee and I met. It's also were I met many other friends. We've been a group for 4 years before B.next and B.lind ended it all.

I'm down for that, but if I don't get to moderate it I'd better not get banned for something stupid.

Back on Newgrounds there was this one kid that went out of his way to ALWAYS mention me and talk shit about me in the chat. Soon as I said one thing about him, chat mods got butthurt and permabanned me from the chat, while he was still continuing to post shit.

I'm not even making this up.

Thank goodness he'll never know about this place. I out of all people don't want him here. He's a brat from Belgium that's way too fucking spoiled.

It already doesn't count towards post count, so why bother go to the trouble of making, monitoring and deleting the posts here when there's a board that fits the requirements?
