I think the constitution should be updated every once in a while. A lot of things just don't apply and are outdated since the 18th century
Like wut?
For starters the second amendment.

It was a good idea to let states form their own militia if they needed to take down the government. However, if the government does become tyrannical it's not possible to fight the government with a militia of pistols and rifles.

I'm out before this thread implodes
Forming own militias seems more dangerous enough since they most likely would want to succeed if organized like that.

And do you mean updating like... giving them real weapons like on par with military? No thank you.

Honestly I got way more enjoyment out of Oblivion I think than Skyrim. I felt the quest writing was far better, and the world just immersed me more at the time when I was playing.

Of course I can't now due to age, but back then it just absorbed me into it.
Agreed. I wish I could play it again, but the combat is blehhhhh. Are there any good mods for that? I'm a bit wary since mods for FO3 or NV don't do much to overcome the clunkiness that's sort of built in to the combat mechanics.
I'm sure there are some combat mods around. I'll look.

i've never understood how ppl sleep while textinh
Tired

lay your head on your pillow and feel more tired

text something and wait for a reply as your eyes close

zzzzzzzz

i see

the person doesn't respond, like, rite away?
long texts between us, and I was already exhausted

it essentially was me waking up later and seeing "luci died"

ohh okay

i can't fall asleep while texting someone... i can't fall asleep easily in general ;~;
I think I might have a small case of Narcolepsy

or maybe, more likely the case, is my internal clock is messed up. If I fall asleep before midnight, I always seem to wake up at 3 AM.

yeah, i see what you mean

sleeping at 12 and waking up a few hours later actually has happened to me before

but yeah, i need to fix my sleeping schedule, like, now cuz school starts again on monday
:<

sucks

Like I said, I have no problem with it. Women make great doctors, scientists, lawyers, and business people. I encourage women to get a career over just having kids as if a family is a career.

But, there's his growing trend that having a family and taking care of children is outdated and bad.
Ah, yeah I agree with that. I think it might be like Japan's effect where people are starting to see marriage as a thing that officially ties you down and restricts you now. So they'd rather just stay bf and gf and what not.

It's only fucking biologically reasonable.

You should want your male offspring to be able to find many mates because that is biologically desirable and a sign that he is going to be reproductively successful.

Meanwhile, you would not want female offspring to have many mates, because it demonstrates that she is not difficult to mate with. She's not picky and would not necessarily pursue or draw the most desirable male to reproduce with.

Males should be able to win over any females, while females should be difficult to win over.
There is no such thing as being "reproductively successful."
This is late, but you two (or him) are speaking from a rather primal view and just looking at sex as a mating thing, with some endgame of trying to have a kid, and that's it. Not at all taking in the cultural aspect of it, how medicine and condoms don't even come into the fray, and how people view and treat sex differently.

I could care less what people do in the privacy of their own bedrooms. Have all the drug fueled orgies you want. It's none of my damn business nor is it anyone else's business.
Toxic mentality.
How is that a toxic mentality?
If people didn't chastise each other for doing stupid shit, people wouldn't ever stop doing stupid shit.

Saying it's none of your business is toxic because you're enabling shitty behavior, and that's terrible.

How is it shitty behavior if it's between consenting adults? Also, how does people enjoying themselves in the privacy of their own bedrooms affect you or anyone else personally? How does it harm society?
Because women and their bullshit feminism are starting to completely reject the role of caretaker. As if having kids and taking care of kids and husbands is a bad thing.

I'm not against women having careers at all. But it's as if women are trying to be like men, and they aren't. They never will be.
I see where you're coming from, however don't consider every single feminist to be someone who rejects men and rejects taking care of kids. I think it mainly relates to women wanting to do a lot of the same things in the work force. It was obviously culturally a thing for men to be the bread winners, while women stayed home to watch the kids and all that. However there has indeed been a culture shift, and now it seems there is a more common acceptance for women to pursue some of the same jobs as men in the workforce, and there is nothing wrong with that.

The more sex you have, the higher risk you have of contracting STDs, STIs, and pregnancies.

Especially if you have more than one partner.

Not that complicated.
If you take the proper precautions to sex, you don't have to worry about that.

What always gets me is how many people put in 50+, 100+, or even 200+ hours into these games and then a few years later say it's shallow and boring.
That's because of how long it takes you to do things and how spaced out things are. Just because there is a big overworld (actually Skyrim's is smaller, just the mountain ranges make it seem bigger) doesn't mean it has so much depth.

Skyrim's writing wasn't really all that great, Chally, and neither was the presentation of it.

Presentation actually bugged me a shit ton in Skyrim as compared to other games. Combat is the best in Skyrim, though combat has never been the strength of any Elder Scrolls game. Something they should probably take a look at. The Witchers is far more in depth, challenging, and consistent, and while being a mage may be flashy, standing in front of an enemy while just holding RT to blow ice, while he does the same to you, is not really that fantastic.
stand in front of my penis and press RT to blow
Nothing happened

must be out of MP

fucking ice slows you down and drains you, ya dig?
