Yeah, that can easily be retconned I think if they DID decide to make it Liquid. Much like MGS4 with Big Boss looking different than he did now, it was a case of "we didn't think we'd get this far" I think.

Apparently it isn't that great.
Rome 2 was the real shit one. Attila is what Rome 2 should have been (a working product that is actually fun and uses the new engine properly). Is it the best? I don't think so at all. That belongs to Rome 1/Medieval 2. But the game is still really great. The downfall is the day one DLC they did that was clearly IN game. Lackluster soundtrack too I think.
