In their defense, I can see why it doesn't have online, having to wait for someone online to make a move is totally going to be a pain, even worse would be how laggy the game will be (since you know Nintendo's online is shit Shhhiiieeet)
Imagine a Lobby that had both A Cheese Potato and I in it, on Nintendo's online. Packet loss rate would be over 9000.

It looks fine up close. No worse than Reach or 4 did, and better than every other Halo besides those two Some surfaces look like somebody botched a glazing job to me. The character models being taken from Reach isn't even an issue, like, at all. Y'know, considering that Reach takes place just days before CE, and that the Covenant you fight on Installation 04 are literally the Covenant that attacked Reach. That and Reach's models were great. The Reach skins didn't quite fit using the CE Biped's animation is what I'm getting at. As a result, some Marine Bipeds looked really fat, and the Elites in particular looked like they were hunched over a lot more than usual. Not something that detracts from the art style of the models themselves, but nonetheless, it just looks slightly out of place. Geometry not matching perfectly isn't even an issue either, unless you're walking up to every single centimeter of the environment to see what matches and what doesn't.
You're greatly downplaying the Geometry mismatching and you know it. But let's forget, for a moment, that you never fail to exaggerate points you argue for, and completely dismiss everything you have even the slightest contention with. While not exactly problematic in this instance, unless someone is going for the fastest possible speedrun on Anniversary's graphics, you can see that, despite the differing angles in screenshots, there is a sizeable difference there. I don't have too strong an opinion over it, but imo, the small details tend to compound into something that doesn't quite look right, in the otherwise visually appealing bigger picture of the Remaster.

Oh, I'll generally quit a multiplayer game if it's halo and most of my team are AFK or quit or in any multiplayer game where the enemy team has map domination to the point that you're basically hiding inside base so that you don't get instantly raped by a 108mm shell or something. Those aren't fun to play. It's just hiding for fifteen minutes or whatever because actually moving just means you'll be getting friendly with Mr. 50 Cal very quickly.
I was doing a good job of suppressing memories of Halo matches that devolved into Whack-A-Mole simulator until you gave me a reminder. God, those games became absolutely pointless. How is it even possible for 8 players online to communicate well enough to lock down an entire map in the first 10 seconds of a game, when all the teammates I (we?) ever get matched with are permanently AFK, notorious teamkillers, or just spam the plasma pistol at Friendly tanks so they can stand in front of the turret and get a betrayal boot?

From a distance, everything looks great, sure. Up close, however, there's something I can't quite put my finger on, that looks a bit out of place. Some of the Character Models in particular (I think they were just ripped from Reach) also look a bit too bulky, and there are parts of the scenery which don't match the original, making for a few invisible walls on the terrain, here and there. At a distance, there are a few areas that would certainly make good Computer backgrounds, but CMT's mods for Halo CE look a lot better.

CE Master Chief can drive/walk into the Ocean on The Silent Cartographer until it's like 20 metres deep, and even the Marines can, never mind the lack of oxygen/pressure at that depth. Also, there's this one bit in the first level of Halo 3, where the Pelicans get blown up, you can jump into that River. The AI can't shoot you in water so they just throw grenades.

Mario Kart 64's 150cc was a lot more bullshit than Mario Kart 8, even on 200. Sure, the AI were absolute Wizards with a Green Shell, and if you got hit by 1 item and then overtaken, you'd immediately drop 6 places as you get hit in succession by multiple AI only targeting you, but 64 is still objectively more Bullshit against AI.
If one of them get ahead, the Elastic Mechanic inexplicably becomes an extremely strong Spring Mechanic, and if you get ahead, the rival AI automatically becomes an F Zero Racer as they catch up to you in a matter of seconds. If you're more than 100m ahead or behind the AI, any item they hit will make them stop, but deal absolutely zero Stun, even if it's a Blue Shell, or they fall off the map.
The fact that the AI are bad with items only compounds the bullshit, because the game's engine is lending them a helping hand and speeding them up. Skilled AI with items can be countered by holding items behind you as security, but when the rival character keeps reappearing just ahead of you, no matter how many shells you throw at the fucker, it's just bullshit because you're losing in a way that's completely impossible to counter/replicate by a human.
Don't even get me started on the original Mario Party. That sack of shit is literally "Screw the human players over: The Game." The AI are absolute spuds in most minigames, but it'll always, without fail, land on a ? switch when you're within range of Toad. And then on Bash 'n Cash, no matter what difficulty setting you play, you won't win, ever. The best possible result a Human player can hope for, is to break even, even if they're one of the players with the Hammer, because the AI somehow develop skills to rival that of a minor deity.
As the one being ganged up on, it is impossible to avoid being hammered, because the AI will always read any feints you try to pull, and you'll be lucky to lose less than 25 coins from this minigame. If you're the one chasing an AI, if the Planets align and you're lucky enough to bring the hammer down on the AI, your next challenge is collecting the Coin bag that goes rocketing around the map faster than a Wraith being launched in Halo: Reach, bouncing at obscenely illogical angles when it hits a wall. You might stand a chance of collecting it, if you can play through the entirety of Battletoads without losing a single life, but even then, that's a big "if."
Oh yeah, and on lolreach when you get matched with a lobby that votes Zombie Ghosts for the 8th time in succession

I'd hate to say it but Chief would be nothing without his armor. All the marines and ODSTs he killed in basic training was thanks to that armor.

The whole point of this thread is the gameplay changes that would arise from such vulnerabilities. You almost gave me a heart attack there. I thought you were talking about an emotionally vulnerable Master Chief. God, talk about a "Halo: Other M" OT: That would make for a good mission, imo. I'm a fan of games that have a level or two where the gameplay is altered in some significant way, as a change in pace from just blasting enemies and flipping switches.
When I was younger, I always wanted to see a Campaign mission where you got to drive a Scarab, and since Reach, I've wanted to see Space Battles become a thing in Multiplayer, too.
