What used to make Anarchy eventful was the kind of drama that couldn't exist on the Flood due to rules. All the lolcows got banned or left; what drama is left can be settled within the rules.

The ungodly difficulty is probably going to get toned down in a future patch (Seriously, half of the shit is beta-tier unbalanced) so it'll be worth a play. I find myself picking up weapons just as much as using Reqs, and you start with a few power weapons and decent Vehicles. You should really give it a try yourself to make the decision tbh
