I would sign up, but I'm the least competitive smash player. Like, I'm decent in the regard that I can go after level 9 difficulty and beat all my scrub friends, but I'm super casual because I consider that about the extent.

Wind Waker looks phenomenal now, they actually put effort into remaking the characters and environments and shit.  TP is literally just an upres

Keep in mind the OG Wind Waker was already a visually fantastic game, and only the lighting was actually updated in the re-release iirc. Twilight Princess is like, the only game in the last 15 years I'd look at and say 'yeah, this is a good enough game that aged badly enough to warrant a new version' and they fucking did nothing after upscaling the damn game to HD.

Every time I bring up this issue in some Zelda forums It gets shut down by people saying it compliments the so-called 'dark theme' of the game. They'll stick to this argument like glue too, because they know there's no other possible way to justify it. Like, nigga, no major character died and the only emotionally dark part of the game was when the Bulbin King had Colin strapped to his Bull thingy. It's like they've never even played the Romani Ranch defense mission from MM, or that god forbid, a bright (or actually good) aesthetic doesn't necessarily clash with a dark story (which TP wasn't).

I've actually encountered people who have taken major issue with the aesthetics of BotW. Shit's Lemon levels of contrarian but they're far from trolling.

Original WW looked better, too.

HD remakes should just never be done. Re-release games if you want, but don't try to use "updated graphics" as a selling point.
