This thread is confusing me. Is it supposed to be a universally rolled r, or are we talking about how well we can say the Dutch pronunciation? I have no trouble rolling them but everybody I've talked to pronounces it essentially the same as saying Tangerine.

The Flood / Re: Is healthy living at the expense of happiness worth it?
« on: February 28, 2017, 09:22:12 PM »
idk man, there's too much to consider here. Up until your 30s being strictly healthy doesn't have huge benefits, but it can help later on in life. Like making it to your 70s and being unable to perform basic movement without great strain vs being the same age and comfortably being able to keep your garden/chores in check independently.

I don't really see a benefit to being pro athlete-levels of disciplined for your whole life unless you actually love doing it. 30 minutes to an hour a day has the potential to help you in the long term, without a need to completely give up on drinking/indulgence foods.

No matter what, or?
The thread on Zelda Dungeon didn't discuss the specifics, but it was implied in the OP that it would be under all conditions in the game yes.

Yeah, from the demos, the blue Bokoblins alone were dealing 2¾ damage in a single swing. That is very exciting.

Anything within Zelda II's range of difficulty is super welcome. The problem with difficulty in Zelda games, I think, is that they become exponentially easier the more hearts you get--evidently, that's not a problem this time around? Will we see enemies dealing 8+ hearts worth of damage and shit?

The system where you get temporary hearts from cooked meals looks like a very smart way to curb that, too.
I read somewhere pretty early on that the Guardians are meant to be able to kill you off a single hit.

I love CTF on Gephyrophobia because you can just sit on the bridge and camp with a sniper as the ammo respawns every 15 seconds or something.

Also the round has no round timer.
Do retards still try to peek like it's CS with those corridors near the sniper spawns?

Why have people subscribed to the series?
It's designed like a slot machine; put the time/money in, get the possibility of a prize. Easiest way to ensure longevity when your project lead walks out with most of the work 12 months from launch.

Dedicated mains like Izaw make Link so much fun and technical, but when I give Link a shot, I usually do "Ok" for a while but eventually find myself playing like an FG Link: Camping (Well I guess some camping is needed for necessary setups), Spamming, and the occasional unintentional lagswitch.
If you wanna work on some setups, Dthrow into pivot up tilt has pretty much guaranteed follow ups at low %. I don't see Arrows to be that useful really, but I'd always try to have a Boomerang out and a bomb on deck. Both can lead into some interesting combos.

A well timed down tilt at the ledge is a quick gimp half the time, especially if you want to be rude and do it out of a Ledge trump (which Link also happens to have some fucking sick kit with).

Why do people think I'd make a thread about Dark Souls 2 breaking me

Isn't it like common knowledge that CMD sucks and complains about every game
You're one of the more prolific dark souls posters on the site and I couldn't envision verb making such a thread soz fam
