So far I'm liking it, however I'm not a fan of the spray

Use the magnum then.
You don't understand, every weapons in CE have spray, even the CE Pistol.

wut

If you tap the trigger instead of holding it down it will hit in the center of your reticule every time when within the guns intended niche. The same is true of most CE weapons actually.

Valkyria Chronicles banner plz
Oh lawd, no weeb banners pls.

You have no idea what weebshit is do you?
First google images result for Valkyria Chronicles.

Spoiler
That's weebshit bro.

Brah, this is my first result.

That's the shitty PSP sequel that nobody liked for obvious reasons.
Second result is slightly better, I suppose.

It's an alt history WWII tactical RPG (think Fire Emblem set in WWII). It's going to have some Japanese tropes and other shit in it, but that's because it's a Japanese game and Japanese =/= weeb.

The sequel was some stupid highschool shit that everybody hated cause it completely abandoned the themes of the first one. It did so poorly in the west that the third was only released in Japan. Which is a shame because the third actually returned to the theme and setting of the first one.

LC was just bitching about the Serious banner so I decided to mess around and put up some different stuff to see how people liked something less formal.

Do you have any better ideas? Or did you just like the old ones?

Well the brown imperial flag was just tacky.

Metropolis? Almost 2 hours? LMAO

Gravemind is acceptable because that level can be a bitch but damn, that's too long.
You can skip plenty of Gravemind.

You can skip most of metropolis too. You can fuckin ninja your way on top of the buildings and skip through the level by jumping from roof top to roof top.

I was there earlier.

90% of the topics in gaming were destiny related.

#offtopic is still a wasteland when it comes to personality and creativity and the sense of community throughout the site is still gone.

B.net is a primarily a marketing vehicle now while before it was a community hub.

Why's everyone getting super pissy at this? It's just vandalism. Not that big of a deal. She should be arrested, yeah, but it's nothing to get mad over.
Because it's shit that can't be replaced/repainted. It's not like she drew a dick on a bus stop.

duhdoy
Paint isn't permanent, you know. She's up there with graffiti "artists". Big deal, she painted some rocks. Arrest her, force her to clean up her own mess. I don't get everyone ITT who thinks that she deserves to be fucking hung for vandalism. Ridiculous.

It's acrylic paint. Meaning it's super hard to remove without  damaging the surroundings.

In the case of the cave art wall they can't remove it without destroying the ancient cave art around it.

I thought it was impossible to be racist against white people. /s

Because that's what most weebs are, yes?

Serious / Re: What's your opinion of Nuclear Energy?
« on: November 12, 2014, 06:39:50 PM »
Fusion would be great, but it's decades away from being viable. Fission is effective and safe right now.

It's closer than you think. As stated earlier Lockheed Martin is confident they can get something up within a decade and believe they can start assembly of fusion reactors in 2017. Even if their claims dont pan out there are others who believe their fusion reactors will be just as viable within a relatively short time frame.

Serious / Re: What's your opinion of Nuclear Energy?

Spoiler
What is nuclear fusion?

Expensive and still in research/trial stages. I'm not expecting commercial use for at least another 50 years seeing as it takes fucking aaaaages for a fission reactor to be planned and built today, let alone development and breakthroughs with fusion past the present, than something to get it past environmentalists, then actual construction.

There's also the other alternative which is Thorium reactors, and from what little I've heard they're the next likely "miracle fuel", with low waste, higher energy output per unit, higher abundancy than current nuclear fuels and would require slight modifications to current fission reactors. (Though don't quote me on this bit).

Lockheed Martin thinks otherwise. They're looking to get something up within a decade.

You did:

I'll support it when it's not producing nuclear waste
Quote
I just don't support nuclear energy that produces highly toxic and radioactive waste that takes 50k years to decay.
Okay, so you don't support nuclear energy.

Sounds like you want a magical energy sources with no waste, no hassle, easy implementation, and preferably it gives everyone free handjobs, too.

Oh boy, taking things way to literally I see. If you weren't looking to nitpick you'd have realized that I didn't mean it like that as the extent of my position was clarified later.

Number of deaths in the U.S. due to nuclear power: 0

Number of deaths in China alone due to coal: 400,000 per year

Number of premature deaths in the U.S. due to coal: 24,000 per year

Environmental hazards due to coal: acid rain, erosion, global warming

Environmental hazards due to storing nuclear waste: none

Radiation released into the environment by coal-burning plants: 400x as much as nuclear power plants

Cost of coal vs nuclear is roughly 1:1.

Coal produces more waste two orders of magnitude higher than nuclear.

Coal has killed more people, will kill more people, will destroy obscenely more of the environment, and will deplete far faster than nuclear.

>implying I support coal either

By not supporting *nuclear energy you support coal.

Wut

Who says I don't support nuclear energy? I just don't support nuclear energy that produces highly toxic and radioactive waste that takes 50k years to decay. It's nearly impossible to ensure that we'll actually be able to keep that stuff contained over that length of time which is exactly why I don't support us going full ham with nuclear energy until we solve the waste problem. Solve that before we start erecting nuclear reactors in every state/province/county/ et cetera all around the world.
