Just over 4 hours now, I'm definitely pumped for this. Admittedly I'm relatively new to the whole Type-Moon and Fate thing, with my first introduction to Type-Moon being Kara no Kyoukai early this year, and to the Fate series being Fate/Zero shortly after watching KnK, but I have also read the F/SN visual novel which I fully read through some months ago, and I found UBW to be a great action packed story route that I'm really looking forward to seeing animated (thankfully I haven't seen the DEEN adaptations of F/SN since I've heard too many negative things about them).
I will also eventually get around to finishing the Tsukihime VN at some point and then I might consider checking out some of the other Type-Moon material but I'm not too sure where to go from there.
This image is mainly for those wanting to get into F/SN, however it has stuff regarding the rest of the Nasuverse as well.

So how is the raid different from the normal game? I've always heard Desticles and Bungie claim that the raids would be game-changing, incredible and tough experiences that would push the players to the limits of their gaming and mental capacity. But from what I've seen, it doesn't look much different from anything else Destiny to offer.
Pretty much what Goji said. There are actually some interesting mechanics in it that shake things up such as buffs. debuffs, objectives other than "survive three waves", and it actually requires teamwork and coordination in order to complete.

 Twelve hours remain until Unlimited Blade Works airs. Just twelve hours until F/SN get's a proper adaption. Over on /a/ we've been having a conversation filled to the brim with nostalgia. Has it really been eight years since we first read F/SN? Wow that time went by fast. With the 100% completion of Fate/Hollow Ataraxia and the Heavens Feel adaptation coming after UBW it really feels like the end of an era. Sure we have this new material coming out, but all of the original stuff has finally gotten it's proper dues. Hell the first two episodes of Unlimited Blade Works are going to be an hour long apparently. I guess after this is over Nasu and Takeuchi will get to work on remaking Tsukihime, it's really been long over due hasn't it? I wonder how many anons didn't make it to see this day. For those of you who aren't familiar with anything other than Fate/Zero this probably won't mean much to you. However those of you who have been on this wild ride will understand.

Can we all realize that games like Destiny don't run at 30fps on all hardware for "console parity"? It's because the hardware is shit and they couldn't hit 60fps if they wanted to.
Well obviously, they went for parity with the last gen consoles and the Xbone. Density could easily be 60fps on the PS4 and probably on the Xbone if they put more effort in/reduced the 1080p to 720 or 944 (I forget the shitty middle ground).
Even if it was 1080/60fps, that wouldn't actually make it less of a bland grindfest though.
I honestly don't think they could hit 60fps unless they went for a very low resolution. How do console manufacturers expect to compete with 4k if they can't even hit 1080p? I just don't get it.
I think it's certainly possible, perhaps not right away though.
And 4k is impressive stuff but it won't be the standard for a while at least. Things will basically stay the same, with the bar being shoved up a bit for multiplats.
Consoles determine the general standard* of games, because they are the larger and more profitable demographic. When the old gen consoles are phased out, which is beginning to happen now with multiplats going for next/current gen and PC only the features/shit in the game is going to expand (Hopefully)
Whilst PC is always going to race ahead and PC exclusive games like Star Citizen are going to dazzle minds it's still going to have to follow the pace of the workhorses to a degree. I know that rustles the jimmies of a few outright elitists and I can understand the feeling when features in BF4 were cut to make it work on the last gen systems but it's just the way things are <.<

One thing though. PC gaming is a bit more profitable than console gaming at the moment and the gap between them user wise is closing fast. It's kind of why you have all these console "exclusives*" that also have PC ports at the moment.

Communication is going to be key if we're going to beat him. Our time gate teams kept getting blown up when returning because they had no idea if the harpies were camping the other side or not. This of course meant that we'd fail since by the time they were able to be revived the other three would get ported into the alternate time dimension thing with no one to open the gate for them.
And you kept getting shot by Megatron.
Those harpies were real dick heads though, there's no indication of when ones gonna come right up behind you and explode.
