Serious / Re: UK Porn restrictions to start in 2018« on: July 26, 2017, 05:25:17 AM »Oh, I see. It's really dumb and it tells me a few more things about the situation."The age-check requirement applies to any website or other online platform that provides pornography "on a commercial basis" to people in the UK. It allows a regulator to fine any business that refuses to comply and to ask third-party payment services to withdraw support. The watchdog will also be able to force internet providers to block access to non-compliant services."I don't think that it will be carried by sites themselves, at least it shouldn't, because it is hard to make every site who hosts something age restricted implement block, plus owners of sites will probably be against such kind of block, plus in this case sites will really have access to your credit card info, which is dumb.I don't think that's true at all. Details are currently not yet final, but it's the sites themselves that require the verification. It is an ISP block, so you will provide your credit card info only to your ISP. So, for example, you trying to access the age restricted site, your provider pops up the page "You are trying to access age restricted site" with field where you are entering your credit card number, then ISP checks if your credit card number is in bank database. If it is there, you'll be then redirected to the page you need, otherwise it pops up an error. The most likely solution is that you will need to verify your age and identity by giving out credit card details to the siteFor Pornhub there are times when I click on a video I get spammed with those fake game bait and switch links. I'm not saying Pornhub is a dangerous site to have your credit card info on, but I wouldn't trust any site which have bait and switch ads. Do to those types of ads I think it's a bad idea to have your information like that on. The UK government should just leave it to the "check the box" for your age rather than forcing people to post their information on a site which could be a trap. 3278

I don`t think those bans will be implemented effectively, also I don`t think that they will be effective at blocking people, who know more or less how to google "how to bypass ISP block to [insert your favorite porn site here]" at least.

Bots, some of them have links to (probably) porn sites in sig in russian. Also, when I registered, I needed an approval from mod to post, I thought it is protection from bots spamming messages.

So wait, you hate yourself and you don`t to change it because you love this your part of yourself. But you don`t hate yourself, because there is a part of you which you like. But since you don`t hate yourself, you don`t have anything you like in yourself, so that makes you to hate yourself. So you hate yourself and you don`t to change it because you love this your part of yourself. But you don`t hate yourself, because there is a part of you which you like.
