correct, as halo is one of the dullest franchises in the history of FPS franchises. Seriously each episode following the space marine and his pals from the UNSC as they fight assorted villains has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the slow gameplay, the series’ only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of mechanics, all to make movement molasses, to make bullets seem magnetic.
Perhaps the die was cast when Bungie vetoed the idea of Apple funding the series; they made sure the series would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody, just ridiculously profitable cross-promotion for directx. The Halo series might be anti-Christian (or not), but it’s certainly the anti-Perfect Dark series in its refusal of wonder, beauty and excitement. No one wants to face that fact. Now, thankfully, they no longer have to with 343i.

The level design is dreadful; the single player was terrible. As I played, I noticed that every time I went for a walk, the designer instead put an un-involved corridor in my path.
I began marking on the back of an envelope every time a corridor was encountered. I stopped only after I had marked the envelope several dozen times. I was incredulous. Bungie's mind is so governed by cliches and flat topography that they have no other style of gameplay. Later I read a lavish, loving review of Halo by the same Jason West. He wrote something to the effect of, "If these kids are playing Halo at 11 or 12, then when they get older they will go on to play Call of Duty." And he was quite right. He was not being ironic. When you play "Halo” you are, in fact, trained to play Call of Duty.

You got the basic gist of it. Blizzard banned a pro-Hearthstone player from competing next year for supporting the Hong Kong protests. This causes a huge amount of backlash from fans and they decide to boycott their games/burn their collections/chargeback their payments. Don't give your anime a bad title. If the title has something like a . or / or ZERO or GX or @ or & or random French words or words just stitched togher or whatever, just ditch it. Same goes for titles with just too many buzzwords or words altogether. This applies to all anime things, including manga and video games or other spinoffs.

Per Maverick and Das, I'm updating you all on the situation with that one girl that caused quite a bit of grief for me last year and what ultimately ended up happening since I haven't updated anyone on the matter since April of last year.
TL;DR: Bitch left our location and tried to get me fired on a lie. It fucking fails and she loses her dream job/location to me and now has to work around me every day knowing she lost.
EDIT: Never mind, it appears I was mistaken in thinking some people would have gotten over the fact that I failed to heed their advice and refuse to accept me admitting my mistake in ignoring them. You can't please everybody.

Because they're anime cards. I know that's a real shitty explanation but that legitimately is Konami's reasoning. They had a situation just like this recently with a card called Firewall Dragon. The card was OP as shit and was used for multiple infinite-loop OTKs but instead of just simply banning Firewall Dragon they would ban literally every other card around it for a while before they did finally outright ban it. We never did get an explanation as to why because Konami never mentions cards when they get hit and added to the list, but it was pretty obvious they didn't want to ban Firewall because it was an iconic card from the VRAINS anime. Kids are just as welcome into locals/tournaments as any other age group and Konami stresses that a lot so they didn't want to (but ultimately ended up having to) ban a card a kid saw from the anime and wanted to use it when going to their first locals/tournaments/whatever. The same logic for Firewall Dragon could be used on making banned OP God cards. i wonder why they don't just make them super OP for casual play only, since they're in charge of banning stuff anyway

I understand that and it’s definitely not something I intend to do forever. I’m only doing it now cause I have no intention of creating an already volatile situation worse with two roommates fighting over dishes. Some of my own utensils and supplies have already vanished and I learned the only winning move is to not play. Speaking from experience, I'm just gonna say you might end up wishing that getting fat was the worst thing that happened to your health if you keep eating unhealthy all the time.

I contemplated posting this in Serious but considering it's just fast fucking food of all things, and it's more of a blog/rant and I'll just be met with meme comments anyways I opted against doing so.
So for the past six months my roommates have been waging a war with each other over the dishes, I want absolutely no part in that and considering half the dishes """go missing""" I just eat out every day instead. Expensive? Very much so, I learned to appreciate dollar menus and meal deals. Unhealthy? You fucking know it, only eating once a day is probably whats staving off morbid obesity for me. But what's most annoying is when my lunch plans get ruined by fucking nothing.
I would go to Popeye's about once a week or so to get a 3-piece meal and some fries. It's like 6-7 bucks where I live so it's somewhat reasonable. However since they released that new chicken sandwich lines are out the door and the drive-thru line blocks parking spaces also, good luck getting inside and getting your order placed within the hour, even with numerous papers on the windows saying their out of the damn sandwich.
"Just go somewhere else" Well yeah, no fucking shit. I don't have time before work to wait an hour in line while hearing people bitch about why they don't have a very specific chicken patty for a sandwich. The problem is although I nuked my social media account following that bleeding cunt's behavior last year (it's okay, I got my payback) I've been noticing everywhere online recently shilling Popeye's out the ass for free and seeing renewed "Ch-ck-fil-A is garbage anyway" posts flooding the internet. Quite frankly, it's downright annoying and so blatantly obvious that an agenda is being pushed. Out of pure spite I've been regularly going to CFA and I would go more if it wasn't for the fact those homophobic cow-worshiping cultists are closed on Sundays.
The point of all this I guess, is: Have any of you actually had Popeye's chicken sandwich? Is it actually worth all the fucking hype and shilling that's being forced down the internet? Or is the media still butthurt that CFA exists and can print money just by existing?
