This, along with everything else about the Frozen series, is very very intentional. One of my stores is a people dump from the princess meet & greet and over half the store is Frozen 2 related and almost all the toys are dolls of some kind. Let me tell you it makes bank, the one store alone makes almost a quarter of a million dollars a week. the animation is good and all (as far as CG goes, anyway—i will always prefer hand-drawn stuff), but the recycled artstyle from Tangled just makes everyone look like a barbie doll, which is very off-putting to me

I don't mean just me specifically. Sorry, I should have specified that it happens to everybody on here in some form or another. Literally only person that was bugging you was Chally (and Banjo; I'll count them as one person because they literally come at the same time, go away at the same time, like each other posts and so on), why you would allow him to get on your nerves considering that he gets banned almost everywhere he sets his foot is beyond me. I've been looking at your topics and I don't see people not caring about you either, quite the opposite: literally two members ask you to talk about your life. So, why not?

Activity in and of itself wasn't much of an issue five or so years ago. The problem is there's no real reason to talk about yourself at this point because people either don't care, get annoyed/frustrated, or will just straight up use it against you with aggressive hostility. I said goodbye to several friends Sunday night who were college interns forced to go back home after work in Disney shut down. I have several pictures I'd like to share; but what's the point if I'm just going to get shit for it? Now, when we have virus going on, do you think we going to have people post more? I really wish so, because I'm curious how everyone of you are doing these days and what are your interests in general.

I got all my crafters in FFXIV to 50 finally. I'm on the fence on whether or not I should keep poopsocking FFXIV or no-life some other game in my backlog.

I went to the grocery store today to get some canned food and drinks to last me for a bit since I won't be working again until at least April 1st. A lot of meat, canned foods, rice, and produce were out. I was able to grab six cans of baked beans but I mostly got snack since I usually just get takeout/delivery anyways. I didn't have to worry about TP to begin with because A. My roommate is a coupon nut so we already had more TP than we know what to do with, and B. You can use a variety of other paper products as substitute. I work in a grocery store and what baffles me is that it's just mainly toilet paper that's flooding out. Some people are buying food of course, but I see more stocking up in paper. Honestly, I'd think having food stocks would be a bigger priority than paper. And like what was talked about above in another post, I had a discussion with another employee over all the idiotic/shitty stuff people are doing. The non-sick can potentially be worse than those who are simply because sick people don't riot and loot stores. They kindly die off at home. I work in an alcohol vendor too. It's another layer of funny to see people stock on up on booze, and honestly kind of sad.

I don't want my time off, I don't want the pay that goes with it, I want everything to go back to normal.
Disney just announced that they're terminating all CP cast members. They have until The 18th to pack their bags and leave. I didn't work today so I didn't see anybody but from what I've heard from a friend who did work today, it was a nightmare in the tunnels below Magic Kingdom. I'm going to have to go in tomorrow and see what is up with my schedule starting Monday but the worst part is I'm going to have to say goodbye to 40+ cast I know and worked with for months now. I told myself I wouldn't get attached to them but now I'm having to watch them all leave abruptly.
The company said it was for their safety. I dare the executive who made this decision to say that to the face of a Chinese CP who now has to fly back to the provinces where they would be at more risk than staying here in FL. This is insane.

Haha this post certainly didn't age well. GUESS WHO JUST GOT TWO FREE WEEKS OF PAID VACATION! Here in the FL property, we’re still operating under “Business as usual”.

Disneyland Paris, The FL property, and Hawaii Resorts are the only Disney locations still open. Disneyland California just announced today they’ll shutdown Saturday night and won’t reopen until April.

I can't stress this enough. It's a complete non-issue if you live in a country that doesn't kill, butcher, and eat local dogs. its just a flu whats the deal

As upsetting as it is for me to say, online forums are pretty much a legacy system these days. Chat based appliacations like Skype, Discord, etc. dominate nowadays because discussion is much easier. While I figure forums will be around for years to come (Reddit & 4chan show no signs of slowing down) it doesn't make much sense for big corporate companies to use up server space on a forum that only a handful of people will regularly use when that space can be used for literally anything else. Also, why are they shutting them down anyways? Do they not view the forums as necessary anymore? Because it seems like a major console would want to have a place for the community to have discussion. Are they just going to rely on Reddit now?

If the Democratic Party had any interest in actually winning against Trump they'll push Bernie Sanders. If the people voting in the Primaries and caucuses had any interest in winning against Trump they'll vote Bernie Sanders. Anyone else is a guaranteed additional four years on the Trump Train.

I'd still vote for Gary Johnson.
I wish Jeb was more well-liked, he ran Florida fine and his brother DINDU NUFFIN.

After the last girl went haywire I thought I would apathetic to the idea, but a female friend of mine is showing confusing(?) signs. We've hung out a lot 1:1, some of which were her initiating plans; but neither of us have mentioned the subject to each other yet. Although January is almost over we have Christmas gifts to exchange. My thought process is, if there is any chemistry there it'll develop even with things going at an absolute snail's pace.

He's impeached, he just hasn't been convicted. Impeachment is nothing more than a formal accusation of grievances against the official. He has to be convicted in the following trial in order to be removed from office, being convicted requires a Senate super-majority of 67 votes. What does this mean? Hes not impeached yet, right?

After delaying for a month, Pelosi caved in and sent the articles over to the Senate today with no leverage from McConnell. The full trial could start as early as next Tuesday.

She sings while walking with Shirou near the end of the movie, you just don't hear it. Also I thought about posting all this in that thread, but didn't know if I'd be chastised for not actually talking about the games, or specifically Grand Order. No singing Illya/10 Literally unwatchable.
Also we've got a Fate thread in Gay-Ming already.

I’m not afraid to admit that I went into the book with the mindset against Socialism. But I still hoped to find something I could agree with him on. But when you have such a false view of the world that is objectively just untrue, everything else that builds upon that foundation is going to be difficult to justify. i'm sure this was a completely unbiased close reading done in good faith with no preconceived notions whatsoever

So the book also came with Das Kapital by Engels. I'm gonna read that now and see if this has more sense than good ol' Karl.
