>All these fallacies

Let's cut the shit and stop avoiding the elephant in the room, there is no place for this practice in civilized society. I'm on mobile so I can't link it, but look up a video on YouTube called Child Circumcision, an Elephant in the hospital. Circumcision is nothing short of mutilation.

I believe this subject is one of the few that justifies using the argument of CURRENT YEAR.

I still need to create a character on Famfrit.

Also, I haven't touched Savage mode on any Alexander floor yet.

Another interesting fact about Jackson pertaining to beating his would-be assassin with a cane. When his assassin came out only feet away and fired his gun at Jackson it misfired, so he pulled out a second gun and misfired as well (the chances of both misfiring is 125,000 to 1), during the investigation afterwards, the pistols used were found to be in perfect working order and there should have been no reason for misfiring at all.

The Flood / Re: The Incubators in Madoka Magica are fucking retarded
« on: April 21, 2016, 04:58:46 AM »
There's really nothing coherent about Madoka. That shows was hastily put together and relies on the shock value of the third episode (which anyone with half a brain saw coming a mile away) to keep the viewers to see just how deep the rabbit hole goes with a "dark" magical girl show. All of this so they can ride Rebuild train just to churn out more money. With their new movies with their fanbase screaming "See, we can do new movies too!" when Eva was already half way done with it.

Madoka is the DCEU of anime.

You hit the nail on the head, although with people like Das the coating is so thick that he wont admit this is the case. Breaking out of character isn't bad, but I guess he wants to avoid my situation on B.next where people would get confused when I was being serious and when i was just fucking around.

Although it's also because crazy feats like what Jackson (and a more positively remembered Teddy Roosevelt) did are now unheard of. Presidential campaigns and their terms that follow have become so dull and lifeless in comparison to the bat shit insane adventures our countries leaders performed in the past. Teddy had his boat stolen by thieves when he went camping, so he goes and builds another boat and spends his entire trip hunting them down. Now a days you couldn't sneeze within 1000 ft of that boat without being tackled and jailed without Mr. President knowing.

I'm not going to say what some of our leaders did was admirable, but other instances in their history have to make you go back and go "Holy shit this guy is Based as FUCK."

i'm convinced that no one actually is--it's just that it's so much more fun to be "ironic," and to pretend that everything is backwards, because circlejerks are boring

everyone already knows people like hitler were evil, so it seems silly to even discuss it--so you pretend he was actually doing humanity a favor. why? because the reactions you get from people when you say that are pretty funny

if we all sat around talking about how bad people like hitler were, it would be boring--it's an insult to your intelligence, so we come up with other, more interesting ways of expressing that, like "hitler was actually a great man"

which essentially translates to, "of course hitler was bad, you 10 year old--allow me to offend you as much as you're offending me by stating such an obvious fact"

that's why i'd describe our sense of humor as "post-ironic"

some people (like das) almost make a game out of this sort of thing, glazing their entire body of beliefs with a thick layer of post-irony, because liberals today have a tendency to state the obvious a lot, and it gets annoying

Typical moe blob cancer wouldn't know which color is which.

Probably not.

so he wouldn't have wanted to be on the twenny anyway

7062
Not necessarily, he killed the national bank. He didn't have anything against banks, just government owned one.

So yes, it is a bit ironic he's on a Federal reserve note.

ALSO

i could be wrong, but wasn't andrew jackson, like, super against paper currency anyway?

didn't he plan to abolish paper currency when he was elected, or some shit?

No you don't, not even with raising a child. Obviously raising a child is a significant amount of time and resources, but it's not as much as you're making it out to be.

Yeah you do need six digits of you want to live comfortably. If you want to be able to live in a safe neighborhood and own your own home and car. Not have your kids pay off debts for schooling until they're 60 also under a shit ton of stress.

Chally's argument was that the majority of people were in poverty, not just one group. Once again, I never said that it was a significantly low number, I said it wasn't the majority of US citizens which Chally was trying to have me believe. And I said this even admitting that there is oppression in the work force.

I also said that breaking out of being poor requires motivation as well, going back to school and getting a degree is one way of handling this. Obviously it's not very time efficient since you have to juggle one or two classes with full time work, but with scholarships, grants, and loans (with a good number of them favoring people like blacks and natives) it wont put you any worse off financially.

I'm not sitting disagreeing that there's a poor problem, I'm saying it's not as black and white as Chally is making it. His comments come off as an "Us vs. them" mentality where there's only being a rich king and being a starving peasant and no in between, that is statistically untrue.

its extremely difficult to break out of poverty, especially if it affects your people perpetually (see: blacks and natives).

"In 2014, the official poverty rate was 14.8 percent. There were 46.7 million people in poverty. Neither the poverty rate nor the number of people in poverty were statistically different from the 2013 estimates."
https://www.census.gov/hhes/www/poverty/about/overview/

46 million people doesn't sound like a low enough number that I shouldn't be concerned.

Did you just jump into the middle of the discussion? Your comment will only make this all go in a loop. I'm not saying living paycheck to paycheck is good, I'm saying it's not as common place as Chally is making it be and it's not as difficult to break out of it as he's implying. But thanks for missing the whole point of what I'm saying.

tell that to everyone living paycheck to paycheck, working their ass off for someone who doesnt care about their prosperity, worrying if theyll be able to pay their bills every month.

Well I couldn't say Henry Clay, I gave that to Verb.

EDIT: And that's a kinder name than what somebody with Mari as their avatar deserves.

The problem here is you feel that anything less than over-the-top living is somehow very little. You don't need to make six digits to live comfortably or happily. Obviously more money will make getting better living easy, but you're not automatically poor just because you're not in a six digit bracket.

Right, so the majority of people need to be "reasonable" (AKA be content with very little) while a select few live like kings.

Found John C. Calhoun.

he engaged in genocidal actions against the indigenous peoples of north america. his significance re: our nation's history is honestly irrelevant in this case- we shouldnt spread the image of such a horrible person around in a positive manner by immortalizing his likeness on a symbol of value. is he the only bad person on our currency? no. im of the opinion that just about everyone currently immortalized on american coins and dollars needs to be replaced.

My claim takes responsibility and expenses into account. As long as you're not having a five course meal for dinner every night and wanting to live in a mansion while driving Lamborghini, you can live comfortably on less than 50k. It's about being reasonable with what you need and what you want at the same time. The whole point is making sure you're responsible with the choices you make.

So like I said, this bullshit system is perfect if you're a loner with no responsibilities and no expenses.
