I thought the point of UBW route was fixing him. The entire point of that route is to ask him if he would give up everything to save the one person he loves.
It's not so black and white as you're making it. In a way, it's doing exactly what Kiritsugu did at the end, only before he became a little too dark. It's a good read. You shouldn't shut it out simply because of that reason alone. Shirou spouting his super hero stuff got annoying after a while anyway.
Rin points out he's pretty much broken in UBW. Picture HF as the way of fixing him.

I mostly enjoyed F/SN because of the characters, the story was still good but it was the cast and their behaviors that really kept me in. Taking the main hero and turning him into something completely different is fucking stupid. It may have excellent world building compared to the other two routes but you know there's a serious problem when one of the bad ends (Mind of Steel) is better/more legitimate than either of the two "proper" endings. Because at least with MoS Shirou acts like fucking Shirou. HF is interesting for many a reason. To dump it for that is just silly, as it does play into his character in more ways than one. Plus, it plays like a direct sequel to Fate/Zero, so that's good.

I meant VN's in general when it came to installing and playing them, not just F/SN. I read Fate and UBW routes, I have zero interest in HF considering it take's Shirou's character and throws it out the window. Not really. Though I really did enjoy them. First route is boring since it's an info dump, but after that it gets really good.

I guess under this logic we should just kill snapping turtles, Pine Martens, or Gila Monsters too. Those all bite and aren't afraid of humans, I guess they're automatically pests and should be shot. So what if he shot a wild raccoon? Why all this drama over it. It's not like it was a domestic pet that relied on someone to survive. They're pests. They bite kids and aren't really afraid of humans. They also carry a host of diseases and parasites. Unless he drove the thing miles away, it would have come back. My only criticism is taking 5 shots when one or two would have been sufficient. You had a rifle, didn't you? Just put the barrel in the cage and right to center mass and pull the trigger. Headshots are really hard with these things. Too small a head. If you really wanted to kill it instantly, you should have had some one almost let it out, just so it's head is out, pin it by the neck with the cage, and crushed its head with a big rock. Or just threw the cage (if it's closed on the bottom, in a lake or river and then fished it out so you could use the cage again. Why waste ammo at all?

The dipshit mods at r/ffxiv banned my entire access to Reddit for two days for "Spam" when I was reporting legitimate rule breaking threads. One of their rules says you need to properly tag image topics so people who don't want to see images all of the front page and just want to see discussion posts can use the "Hide all media filter" and remove them. Well some users REALLY want to attention whore so they tag their images as "Fluff" or even nothing at all so it bypasses the image filter and we're still stuck with their shit on the front page.
So after I clicked the "hide all media" filter, I usually report every image topic I see before hiding it since THAT is legitimate spam. I guess one mod is either butt hurt about following his/her own rules or doesn't know that the other users are spamming the front page doing this because I only reported four posts and that IS a legitimate concern that's brought up EVERY time they ask for improvement on the subreddit.
So I just got banned for following the rules and helping them do their damn job.

The only vibe I got from him was he didn't like their view on shit like Trans people, I didn't know something like that would really bother him. Then again, I was dark for most of 2015 so I don't know if I missed other important stuff that involves him and the community. Except those titles carried a lot of meaning and their relationship with the ninjas aren't always as you seem to make it, this is coming from a Fabled Mythic member. It only seemed that way because they spent enough time there to understand what and what not to post, it may seem like they got away with shit but they just barely skirt the line as far as the ninjas were concerned. And I fucking hate Daz with a passion, rank has nothing to do with it. Having your year number is nice and all but there's no point if you're not active on the forums and apart of the community. Mythic members were very much active and were active for a long time, and suddenly that doesn't matter anymore because "One leaves and a hundred take their place" that's a disgusting point of view and I can not believe Achronos would think that way. One great thing that happened to the community was the loss of ranks when we went from The Flood to OffTopic.
The way mythic members were suddenly unable to be these snobby, arrogant, ninja ass kissing faggots was great. You better believe that's why a lot of them stopped posting. The site update wasn't bad when we got a dark theme and they ironed out the glitches.
